Susan was such an accommodating hostess, not only did she leave breakfast foods, but she made sure there was tons of fruit, and she asked the preference for coffee additives for each guest! There in the the fridge was half and half, almond milk - she saw to the needs of the 4 adults that stayed in the upstairs apartment. This historic property was quiet, comfortable and very affordable. Well done!

Great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston! We stayed in the downstairs area and had the whole floor. There were beautiful decorations in this old style home, with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Had a choice of several beds ranging from soft to firm, and Susan, the proprietor, was wonderful at making our stay as comfortable as possible.

There are lots of neat places to visit in this small, old Texas town, with good restaurants and old architecture. There's also the home of Blue Bell Ice Cream just 1.5 miles away.
