Our stay at High Country Guest Ranch was absolutely amazing. The owners are extremely helpful and very professional. They went out of their way to ensure our vacation was the best it could be. The cabins are all very nice. We stayed in Western Star (cabin #3) and it was perfect for our two families. The views in every part of the ranch are breathtaking. We didn’t want to leave. They offer Trail Rides which I highly recommend. The wranglers they have are awesome and their horses are beautiful and very good at taking their riders out on the trail. Thank you High. Country Ranch for giving us the ranch vacation we were looking for. Everything was top notch. We highly recommend this ranch.

This was a very beautiful setting for a stable. Nice and peaceful with happy horses and great staff. Not to far from Hill City. We loved the historic old milking parlor turned into the barn and office.

The trail guides were knowledgeable, so calm (helpful for nervous first timers), and so engaging! Our guide was Hope—wonderful gal!
