We just came back from our trip and I already miss it. This place has amazing views and wonderful staff. Deliska and her team were super sweet and accommodating to my husband and me. We felt so at ease here we even accidentally nodded off in the common area. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful spot on the cape.

Our extended family stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and the amenities were plentiful. The location to the gorgeous, quiet, peaceful ocean beach and hiking trails with gorgeous Mountain View’s within a minutes walk were everything we hoped for! Great large well equipped kitchen and dining area. What is lacking in privacy here is compensated by all the interesting friendly people we met from all around the globe!!

This was my first stay at a hostel, and I must say it was everything a hostel should be: clean and comfortable! It's in a great location; so close to the beach and the some hiking trails. We spent two nights here, and happily would've stayed longer. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and so were the other guests. The demographics of the guests skewed older, so there was less of a social and more of a calm atmosphere.

The location is great - you are a short walk from a wonderful beach. Staff was helpful, but the hostel itself felt outdated and barebones. The prices were expensive, but it's probably the best deal you can get on Cape Cod. This year the hostel is open for less than two months, which is unfortunately considering how high the demand is for this area.

My daughter and I are both life members of HI and have stayed at many different places. This one is in a great location, very close to the ocean, just maybe a 10 minute walk. The beach is nice but even at the end of July I thought it was too cold and rather strong undertow for swimming. (I was a lifeguard in HS and college). The weather was great and I enjoyed walking there. I did see some seals! The beach was not crowded, but a few people.||||The dorms and bathrooms are fairly standard for hostels. There was only 1 shower in the women's and 2 toilets but I never had to wait. The living room size was average, the kitchen large. Everyone was friendly. The wifi worked well. Phone service was a bit iffy at times on my cell. This one is only open 2 months in the summer. There is not AC but with fans it was fine.

For what it is, this hostel is well run. I'm sure it's the most affordable place to stay on the Cape. Just make sure you know what to expect before staying here.||If you sleep in the dorms, be aware that it's several bunk beds in a small basement room with no air conditioning (there are some floor fans for air flow). If there are other guests in the room with you, there's not really any privacy, you will see/hear them (and they will see/hear you). I'll be honest, I found it hard to sleep and personally I'm not sure I would stay in the dorm again (might do a private room).||But if you're OK with that, you should have a good stay. The building is super old, but everything was clean and well maintained. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There is a large kitchen for shared use with appliances. It was pretty quiet when I was there but there were a few other guests eating dinner when I was around.||The hostel is in a spectacular location down a small rural road in the National Seashore area. There are a few other private homes around but from the hostel, all you really hear is the sound of the wind and waves. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes.

Nice staff, nice area.|Very quiet place. Everybody is very kind and calm. |The beach is wonderful.||The hostel is a little old. |Bed are ok but not very comfortable. In summer, it's very hot in the room especially if you are on upper bed because it's too up for the fan.|No intimacy in bathroom. Very small, and just a curtain.|No kitchen and the nearest grocery (45min by walk) is very expensive. So it's better if you have car.|But the atmosphere of the hostel is very good so you have a very good moment. |I have a very good moment and meet wonderful people.

HI Truro is a wonderful place to stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you just want a quiet vacation on the beach. But is still close enough to fun gathering places. The huge fully stocked kitchen allows you to have a space to cook meals without being crowded. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a beach getaway.
Please note. Because this Hostel is on National Park lands there is no alcohol permitted. That goes for the beach too.
