While I had planned to never utilize this location again, it was my only option and I had to do so when flying in. My next experience, though, was completely different from my first. The person at the counter was very attentive, and when i brought up the previous experience, he actually said he remembered that vehicle and that it was actually received on a one way trip from another location. He pulled the vehicle from use after I had told him the issues and I believe it was completely taken out of service at that point. My next rental was a Nissan altima in great shape and I had 0 issues through my rental. Following that I gave them a few more chances and the first experience seems to have been the outlier. Every following experience was great and they assisted with accommodations on my arrival times and with traveling one way from alternate airports. I am raising my 1 star review to 4 stars as, they have been great since then. My only complaint at the moment is trouble reaching them throughout the day. It seems like when you call, it takes about 4 attempts to get through each time. When you do reach them though, they are always friendly and happy to assist. While I previously wouldn't have recommended at all, my experiences recently have changed this opinion and now I will go this route whenever I head into texarkana/hope.

The Car itself was in poor condition. The tires had virtually no tread on them. I picked up the car at midnight and was unable to inspect and didn't see this until the next morning. Had I seen this before leaving, I would not have taken the vehicle. Additionally, car would want to lose control when hitting the slightest bump. It felt like the rear end wanted to slide out from under it. This car was not fit for the road and should not have been rented. I told the consultant about it at drop off. Hopefully they resolve before they rent out to someone else.

Last March 25, I reserved a vehicle in this location and paid everything in advance. My appointment to pick up the vehicle was for 5:30 pm. I arrived at the appointment at 5:03 pm. When I arrived, the counter was empty, but I was listening in the office. inside to a lady in a personal conversation on the phone, after 10 minutes waiting without anyone coming out to assist me, I decide to call on the phone and that's when the lady comes out to answer the line and I inform her, don't bother, I'm the one who calls and I inform her I have a reservation, I come to pick up the vehicle and I show her my reservation on my cell phone to which she responds that she's sorry but she doesn't have any vehicles available. I tell her it's impossible, look, I already paid everything in advance and she tells me that she's sorry to cancel. I inform her but what am I going to do, I'm barred here and she tells me to go to the AVIS counter to see what they can do and I ask her and I had already paid my money in advance and she answers me cancel and that's it, I tell her can you do the cancellation and informs me that she doesn't know how to do it, so she looks in my message to see if there is a button that says cancel and she leaves, leaving me there. 0% CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AN EMPLOYEE WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO HIS JOB SO THEY WANT HIM THERE THE PERSONAL CALLS ON HIS CELL PHONE CAN BE MADE FROM HOME, I WOULD NEVER HIRE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN

This place is terrible. They stranded me with a broke down car with my 2 year old son 800 miles from home. Luckily, I rented from AVIS, which I am now taking home. Never use these people. Customer service is complete garbage and doesn't assist you. And could not get me another rental car. Just don't, they are not even cheaper, the advertised price is not what they will charge you. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Customer service sucks, won’t answer the phone and when they do they put u on hold for 30 min and never come back. Now phone is off the hook and busy

I am very pleased with the SUV. The pleasant and professionalism of the staff was a welcomed relief. After a two week waiting period for Enterprise and no rental. Hertz was a wonderful experience.

Was driving in from out of town, desperately needed a rental car to get back and Leah was amazing to work with. Had me set up ahead of time and ready for me when I got there. I definitely appreciate exceptional customer service, and she provided an awesome experience. Would recommend!
