Well-maintained trails with multiple benches along the loop if you need to take a break. The water fountain near the parking lot was not operational.

Nicely-kept trail. This is one of the conservation areas that we frequently walk in since it has a good loop with good shaded areas, and open areas as well if you prefer the sunshine.

They also have a good sized playground for both kids and big kids 😉

Nice crushed gravel trails, 1 1/2 mile loop, clean, plenty of parking and bathrooms!
Our family loves walking and running here, kids used to love the park when they were younger.

Nice calm and peaceful forest preserve, with a Creek running through it. Walking through beautiful winding trails was very relaxing.
Spotted couple of deers while walking. The play area is well maintained and not so crowded. There are plenty of parking lots available. The Preserve is well cladded in a beautiful neighborhood.

Great park/reserve. It has at least 3 parking areas at its main entrance. It has bathroom areas, trash bins, the playground which is down the road once you go through the main entrance is nice. It has two levels separated by a rock staircase. The top for younger kids and the bottom for older kids. It has lots of baby swings, one toddler swing, and at least 3 normal swings. Some of the pavillions have large grilling stations.

I picked heron creek, hoping to see herons, but I was disappointed because the trails don't have access to the stream or the lake where you can see these birds—other ways the trails are well maintained and clean. Bathrooms are impeccable. If you have little kids it has a large playing area.

A bubbling creek runs through the park with several bridges crossing it. There is a big playground. We saw some bluebirds.
