If you are Chronically Ill, Are disabled, have chronic degenerative disease processes. Do not rely on Hernando County Emergency Management for anything..First off . When I called in this morning to ask a questions regarding the De Santis Executive 22-219 order and issues with CVS, sounds like they were having a full on Hurricane Ian Party... I will give Hernando Road Wokers at the Sandbag Stations a 10 + Star Rating. Those gentlemen were wonderful, helpful and knowledgable

I am curious to know why a "mandatory evacuation"notice was given to all homes one mile East of US 19 on Sunday afternoon? The predicted storm surge was 5 to 9 ft For the surge to extend that far inland the surge would have been 29 ft. Can anyone explain?
