😍It’s a beautiful late May afternoon. We love it. There’s also a trail that leads to more beautiful views atop. It was the perfect hike for us. I would visit here more often if I live closer.❤️

Beautiful breathtaking views! The trails were kinda difficult do to the large steps and some water on the trails. Take a bottle of water with you as there was nowhere to fill one up. The visitor center seems like it is always closed

This is a nice experience if you want to see a waterfall and don't want to walk far. The waterfall (at least, the lower part of it) is visible near the visitor center and you can walk over the bridge to go over the waterfall and walk the trail to the upper part

There was not much water when we arrived at the top, but that'll differ during the period of the year.

It is .3 miles to the top from the visitor center. There are posts/rails along the way for hand holds if needed.

What goes up, must come down, be careful on the descent because it can be slippery with the loose gravel. It’s worth the trip to the top.

Definitely worth the drive for tourists and locals alike. Helen Hunt falls has been one of my go-to destinations for years. The path is well maintained for being in the mountains. Parking is much better since it was redone. The drive up is very easy. Multiple spots to stop and take a break if needed.

Adorable little visitor center and access to Helen Hunt Falls hike. Free bathrooms, lots of activities (paint rocks, break a geode, paint a postcard - all cost $) water fill was $1. We pulled off at one of the side areas on our way back down and had a picnic by the river - beautiful!

This was a perfect, just what we needed! The location was easy to get to, no matter what vehicle you have and once you get to the trail head, there is lots of parking. A lot less crowded than Garden of the Gods. Dogs are allowed, just need to be kept on a leash for their own safety (steep areas just off the path). The trail to the main falls is only about .75 miles, but approximately 200 ft in elevation. Mostly steps, but the views are worth it.

Nice pause in the mountain trails. They are all about hummingbirds…..kinda cool. The falls are picturesque but not as large as you think.
