Really beautiful trails and great views of the south Bay. Very calm and peaceful. Someone left a few books here on the bench for anyone to read. This is a bench on one of the trails. It has a great view of downtown and the south Bay.

Wonderful open space for a short hike with kids. Super close to Blossom Hill Road and even connects to Belgatos Park. There are great views of the Bay Area and a small shelter/picnic spot. Fun to explore and watch animals!

I love running Heintz Open Space. You can run into Santa Rosa OSP which has a lovely long downhill section and beautiful wildflowers.

This was a great spot to bring my pups and get a sweat going! The network of trails vary in difficulty and pitch. Tucked away just outside of Los Gatos it’s easy to access. Very limited parking, however. Trails were well maintained and with biker trails available as well.

That was a fresh view! This most definitely would be a fun place for quantum computing. You’ll see a lot of people walking their dogs or biking. This is also a beautiful neighborhood, with a classic American style. Overall I highly recommend. Semper Fi.

Close to suburbia but has a surprising amount of wildlife. So far I've seen gophers, chipmunks, rabbits deer, gopher snakes, 3 kinds of lizard, quail and turkey. Even a deer killed by what I assume was a mountain lion.

Park essentially consists of 2 walks, both involving shortish but sharp climbs. The right fork, Vista I believe, is short and starts easy but the final part is steepish. Up and back is about half an hour.

The left fork from the entrance climbs for a while with some steepish sections. If you turn left onto Valley View after the shelter on the right about 15 minutes up there is a great view of Silicon Valley. Following the trail around there is the option to take the Santa Rosa Trail which goes up to Santa Rosa St or down to Bel Gatos Park, or continue on the Skyline Trail which loops back to the shelter and back down to the entrance. While the trail up to the Skyline/Valley View junction is double track/fire road, the Skyline/ Valley view are wide singletrack. Up, around the loop and back down is about an hour.

Keep an eye out for descending cyclists, dog/horse poo and snakes.

Hidden away in a beautiful neighborhood unbeknownst to most. Quite a bit of shade but I think it's most beautiful in winter, fall and spring.
