I had a very good experience the other night in ER. The check in was super easy and we were taken back right away. The nursing staff and Dr were very professional. They were genuine in the compassion and care given. They listened to what we were saying and asked questions. They didn't try to run any unnecessary tests and addressed all our concerns. I wish I remembered the doctors name as she was the best doctor I've seen in years. I want to also mention nurse Mel B and her coworker, they showed a lot of compassion and i felt they genuinely cared. I will definitely go back.

We live 25 miles away in Wildwood. Did a test drive the day before because of early appointment. The drive is easy but finding the Admin front door (using GPS) for the hospital was a challenge because that entrance looks like going into the boiler room. But once inside, it was a different and enjoyable experience.
People were nice and welcoming. Had battery of tests and hand-offs from one test to the other. We did need to keep on top of things to make sure everything was lined up.
Technicians seemed proficient and made sure we understood everything happening.
Waiting on still another step in the process before all the tests are in for the decision makers. Worth the trip to get this level of confidence.

It was probably the quickest time we were there. But I can say that the paperwork we received when we left has a lot to be desired. No documentation of blood pressure. Temperature. Reasons why we came to the hospital. NOTHING was on the release paperwork. Not even the results of the CT Scan or the. X-ray results. Again , NOTHING! They really need to be better at disseminating patient information TO THE PATIENT THEMSELVES!

The hospital staff were excellent. I was kept informed and all questions answered before, ,during and after my husband's surgery. He did have to wait 4 hours in the recovery room for a room due to staffing issues. That was a little frustrating. The experience with pre-op lab, and EKG was not a good experience. Intake and chest x-ray were done promptly. We waited a long time 30-40 minutes for lab and EKG while others were taken ahead of us. When we finally said something the gentleman greeting us apologized, saying he put my husband's name in the wrong bin. He wasn't the only one there. There were 2 women sitting behind desks that faced the waiting room that should have picked up on the fact that we were there a long time. One of them kept humming(very irritating). The lady doing the EKG needs some retraining. She had my husband sitting up. The sticky patches kept falling off and were never replaced. The skin was not cleansed so they might stick better and he has a very hairy chest that wasn't shaved for the patches to stick better. Some of the patches had hair on them so I don't see how they could stick properly. The equipment the electrodes are attached to was left hanging between his legs pulling the sticky patches loose as well. I find it hard to believe this is acceptable and that the EKG's are accurate.

I went to the ER for chest pains. George, Brittany and the rest of staff were very attentive to me. After a while I was sent up to the cardiac care unit. I was taken care of extremely well! The nurses, Donna, Maddie, Michelle, Dawn and so many more; you are all amazing, caring, supportive, and so much more. I don't ever want to see you all again. I mean that with all my love and admiration to you all! If I have to go back to the hospital, I at least know where I am going!!!!

I went in for an acute case of Appendicitis. This was the first time I have ever been admitted in a hospital. The facility seems to be run very efficiently and the staff are all very professional. I believe I received great care there. What I was not happy about was the lack of privacy, the door to my room constantly open to the noisy hallway and the nurses coming in and turning on the bright lights when I was trying to sleep. (It was impossible for me to get any sleep in that room.) This was torture for me! The nurses were otherwise wonderful. I just think they could use much more sensitivity when it comes to a patient's need for privacy and quiet!

We had a great experience with our nurses Kira and Ashlyn were so helpful and provided great information about potential stroke signs and symptoms. We were made to feel comfortable and like no request was too small or unwarranted. Top notch professionalism and super knowledgeable! Thank you both for your EXCELLENT CARE!

I went in as a stroke protocol and was treated with such kindness and humanity from the paramedics to the hospital staff on the 4th floor. They were so kind, supportive, and respectful. If I wanted to talk and they had the time, they would talk with me about anything. It was honestly the best hospital experience I have ever had. Oh, and the food is AWESOME!
