We had such a fantastic dinner at The Harbour Rest in Winchendon — hands down one of the best local spots we’ve been to in a while! We ordered the Baked Haddock and the Clam Plate, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The haddock was cooked to perfection — tender, flaky, and full of flavor, while the clam plate was crispy, fresh, and just the right amount of indulgent. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their food.

What made the experience even better was our waitress, Deena. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and professional — the kind of server who makes you feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of without being overbearing. She checked in at all the right times, had great energy, and you could tell she really cared about making sure we had a great experience.

From the cozy, laid-back atmosphere to the spot-on service and delicious seafood, The Harbour Rest is definitely a place we’ll be returning to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

BOUGHT the whole Belly Clam. Onion rings chicken tenders for the 17 year old. It's not maine but the best I've
had in the area. Grandson loved the tenders as well. I'll be back. Large portions..

I love the Harbor! They know how to properly serve fried seafood. The batter compliments the food. It doesn't cover it up. The same goes for the baked scallops. Many places bury them in breadcrumbs. Here, they are served in butter with breadcrumbs just lightly sprinkled. The atmosphere is casual and feels welcoming. The waitstaff are happy, prompt, and courteous.

Usually decent, but last visit there was not great. Ordered the *hand breaded* bay scallops and clearly they were a frozen entree dripping water from the inside! and veggies were cold, but chicken wings appetizer was great, but expensive.

This place was just okay and they shouldn't claim to be a seafood restaurant as they don't have much of a seafood menu, at least not when we went two weeks ago. We went for oysters, no oysters, ok I could have settled for mussels, no mussels. Fried shrimp, and fried calamari they had. Basically this is a burger and wing place with a lot of fried foods. My BFF was able to get the lobster Mac n cheese which was a huge serving with decent size pieces of lobster but it didn't have much flavor and the cheese they used was mediocre. I wasn't in the mood for the food they had available and so I just ordered the buffalo wings and a grilled cheese with fries. Like I said, I wasn't impressed.

Dena is an amazing server and bartender. She always has a smile and our drinks ready when she sees us. We enjoy the food so much we try to go once a week for dinner.

Clams were overcooked. High price and clams were very stringy. Although they were tasty Even though they were full bellied clams they appeared having thick stringy not good. The bellies were fine. Put the appeared to have six strings attaching them. Not too good to eat.
