On our latest vacation in Siesta Key/Sarasota, FL area, we had the opportunity to go on two Happy Go Lucky trips with Captain Joe - and they were both memorable!! One was a dolphin cruise, that exceeded our expectations by a lot! Cpt Joe took us to several spots where we saw packs of playful 3, 4 or 5 dolphins, as well as white and gray pelicans. The other trip was a sunset cruise - it was amazing! Cannot ask for better views and experience, and a better guide than Captain Joe! The boat is perfect for a couple, or up to 6-8 people (it even has a bathroom, a rare find amongst this type of cruise boats!), and Joe’s navigating skills, knowledge of the surroundings and fantastic personality truly made us feel like VIPs 🙂
We cannot wait to return, and go back on the water with Captain Joe!

We went on a cruise and Captain Joe was awesome!! We saw dolphins and white pelicans and we swam by Lido beach. If you want to have a great day out on a boat, I fully recommend Captain Joe and Happy Go Lucky Siesta Key! 💕

Captain Joe was great! He was very professional and knowledgeable about the area and made the trip very enjoyable. He will tailor your trip to whatever you want to do. We stopped at a sandbar and hung out for a little while. While at the sand bar my son paddle boarded with dolphins and also saw a manatee. After this we just cruised around and enjoyed looking at the beautiful houses. You will not be disappointed in booking a trip with Captain Joe!

My family recently had the pleasure of experiencing Happy Go Lucky boat tours with Captain Joe! This experience included adventure tubing, dolphin sighting, and just cruising along the beautiful coastline shore. Compared to other tours, his boat was unparalleled in spaciousness and cleanliness. It also boasted great sun covering or exposure for varying personal preferences.
The tour started off with an exhilarating tubing adventure. My three tween boys were a bit nervous to ride the waves, but Captain Joe took extra precaution to ensure their safety while keeping their excitement levels high. Whether fast or slow, he was especially tuned into accommodating whatever speed they requested. This special attention struck the perfect balance between thrill and relaxation and made for unforgettable moments.

After everyone had their fill of water recreation, it was time for a scenic ride along the stunning coastline. Captain Joe shared fascinating insights and tidbits about local life around the shores. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing dolphins up close in their natural habitat. I thought a dolphin sighting would be like a great mirage, but Captain Joe’s experience and knowledge led us right to the heart of a mama and babies dancing through the waters, sometimes coming so close that we could almost touch them.

Overall, this boat tour offered a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation , and sheer joy. It was nothing short of magical and a must-do for anyone seeking promising memories that will last a lifetime.

We had a wonderful day on the water with Captain Joe. He is both congenial and knowledgeable. The teenage girls had a wonderful time tubing and we all loved looking at dolphins. He knows what he’s doing and he knows where to go to see these fantastic animals. There were about a dozen of them around us at one time.
If you love an afternoon on the water, I recommend you go out for a charter with Captain Joe.

Captain Joe is very knowledgeable and experienced. We got the water sports package and our boys had an absolute blast tubing. We spent the rest of the time cruising around and had a close up experience with a pod of dolphins. This was easily the highlight of our trip. Thank you, Captain Joe! Highly recommend!
