During our travels we were at a point to where we needed to stop and sleep. This hotel was on the google maps but definitely visually hard to find. The signs to get to the entrance were not very well marked. We were also tiered so that could be it also. The hotel itself self was very beautiful, it looked very new. The lady at the desk was very nice. I am a tad disappointed that since we were only going to sleep about 6 hours and leave that she didn’t discount our rate, it was past midnight after all. We did pay full price and if we wanted breakfast we had to pay. It did smell good and they had a great looking section for breakfast, but we did not eat. Over all the hotel and service was very nice and clean. That is always what I look at first! Thank you for letting us rest our head!

I’m giving this location one star because I was misled by the receptionist. I booked my stay through Hilton and called the hotel directly to confirm if the pool was in good condition, as I planned a poolside vacation with my family. The receptionist assured me that the pool was open and fully functional, and that I could bring my family.

However, when I arrived, it was clear that wasn’t the case. All the poolside chairs were flipped over, and although the pump was running, I was told the pool was closed due to “lining issues.”

Also, the lock on the door did not work when you closed it. It felt like it was locked, but if you pull it really hard it opens. So that was it the safest feeling in the world with my stuff in there

To make matters worse, the elevator was in terrible condition so old it felt unsafe. A piece of paper inside even warned that the limit was five people, which doesn’t inspire confidence.

Honestly, I’m shocked this property carries the Hampton name. It does a disservice to the brand

I have 300+ nights in Hilton properties over the last 6 years. I'd say 80% of the time it is a satisfactory experience. The issues I had attempting to stay (having made a reservation via Hilton.com early a.m. day off check-in 2/5/2025) included:

Checked-in via the app as always with a 4:00PM arrival (completed around 3:30PM from the road):

1. Digital key did not work on arrival, I stood at the rear entrance for around 5 minutes until an exiting guest allowed me entry.
2. Front desk clerk "re-sent" the digital key, it was another 5-10 minutes before the digital key was "green".
3. Rode the elevator up, walked down the hallway to my room and of course, housekeeping had not completed their work. Can't fathom how this is possible when check-out time is 11AM and there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. And I checked in on the app with time to spare...
4. I returned to front desk, asked the clerk to cancel my stay and I drove almost 3 hours to return home for the night. I will now have to depart my home well before sunrise to return to this area to complete my work on 2/6/2025 requiring the hotel stay. Thanks so much for wasting 6 hours of my life.

The only, and I mean ONLY positive to this experience was the extremely kind and accommodating front desk clerk. It's a shame that this location is so poorly managed to have put this young lady in such a difficult position, as it was obvious she was doing what she could to improve the situation.

Do better.

This is our second stay here, and both times were fantastic. This hotel is very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. All associates were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. The proprty is also very well maintained. Hilton would do themselves a favor by using this Hampton as an example of excellence.

Clean, comfortable rooms, but navigating the TV was a royal pain. The remote was difficult to manipulate, and forget Netflix. Tubi hung up on me, too.|Nice free breakfast, with a good selection.|As a bonus, it is near the Natural Bridge Park.

Picked up a nail on I 22 and stopped at Hampton for the night. The next morning staff was so helpful, especially maintenance man Steve Martin. Helped us change tire and stayed with us outside in sunfreezing weather to make sure all was well.
Great job Steve and staff

I booked a reservation online. The guy who checked me in priced me a different amount than the confirmation I received by email. When I asked him about it, he said I’m just telling you what the computer says. I showed him the email and then he got an attitude and asked me how much he owes me. Then he hands me the cash. He was not very conversational and not very friendly. When I asked him about check out time he laughed at my face. I decided to stay because my family and I had been driving for 12 hours and it was storming bad out. The best thing about this place was that it’s right off the highway. When we went to breakfast everyone was looking at me and my kids weird. Not sure if they’re racist. I was glad to get out.
