Homeless and strange individuals running from the law shack up here. Their dogs run loose no leash and hostile to other dogs. It's sort of isolate so it attracts not the most pleasant people.

I've been going to this river for a couple years now and the water has always been super nice but I went recently and the park was really dirty. The bathrooms had a strong bad odor and there was trash/dirty toilet paper everywhere and can't be used. Trashcans near the tables were overflowing and all over the floor. I understand that when we visit the park that we need to clean up after ourselves, but someone needs to do proper maintenance of the area to keep it looking nice daily, especially with the weather getting warmer and the amount of people visiting increases.

Ok I got to give this review to the county worker that’s usually in the booth greeting everyone . Today like any other weekend he was working in the booth . He tells people how to park and to prevent getting a ticket when the Chp or sheriffs come . He’s made parking so much easier but sometimes there are people that don’t listen. He goes during his down time and searches yelling for the owners to move their car which then makes more space . They usually come after 4 and start making their rounds for tickets or warnings . I wished the were able to make it easier for the only worker that I see that helps . Make lines or something to spray down to show where to park . Help him out ! ! Give him something to mark or have a parking enforcer. I always give him water ! Today I noticed they’ve been working on the playground which had barricades then not anymore So Unsafe ! Kids all on it ! BUT!! This Worker He on top of managing parking for everyone went out of his way off the clock to make sure safety was his priority! Manage to get the kids off or wait to have a parent see that he’s nearby watching them and have them come get their kid . Also asking for help by others to look for their parents that aren’t paying attention to their children. He cleared it and then put stands on his car carried them on top to the bottom where the playground is and grabbed caution tape and made a barrier sealing it off . He made sure safety and responsibility’s was taken. I know it wasn’t his job to do it, should be the company that ensures safety for the community. But he manage doing it got it taken care of and reported it to his higher up making sure it’s a urgent matter . Give this guy a raise or recognition!
