Had a great day with captain Eric! We had 3 younger teenagers on board and he was awesome with them! Really patient and taught them how to catch bottom fish. The boys can’t stop talking about their fish, especially their barracudas! I HIGHLY recommend captain Eric and GulfCart charters! The boys asked if we could give him 6 stars instead of 5.

Unforgettable Fishing Adventure with Captain Eric on GulfCart Charters!

We had an absolute blast on both of our fishing trips! Our first trip was a 4 hour offshore & a perfect day!
Eric was fantastic - super laid-back, entertaining and personable, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters. He made the entire trip enjoyable, and most importantly, put us right on the fish!

We ended up catching a nice lil mess - enough to feed our group of 5! We reeled in some keepers..a nice grouper, flounder, some red & grey drum! Caught a bunch of other species that were released.

On the way back, we stopped to check his bait cages and found a cool lil seahorse in one! I loved that!

We had so much fun that we booked a 2 hour inshore trip, a couple days later to get a different experience. It was equally as cool. We went in and out of the inlets & mangroves & landed a nice 31 inch snook!

Both trips were well worth the money. Everything was included - fishing licenses, all the gear we needed, and even bait!

We met Captain Eric at Annie's before heading out. They have a great selection of cold beers and delicious food, which was the perfect way to start the day. Great lil bait shop & they have Annie’s shirts & Gulfcart charters shirts to purchase..we bought a few of each!

He cleaned & bagged the fish and we went home and cooked them up both times!!

If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure in Cortez, I highly recommend GulfCart Charters and Captain Eric! You won't be disappointed!

Captain Eric was great on the trip. Took really good care of my wife and kids and got my son and I on a good number of fish even though there was a big cold front rolling through. No question I will be getting in touch with him for another charter next time we make it back to Florida’s gulf coast. Thanks Eric!

We Fished with Capt Eric today for the first time. had an epic day. Caught over 100 fish 13 different species. He worked really hard putting us on the fish all day long I would recommend him 100%. He was professional, personable, it was like fishing with a longtime friend. Thank you Eric for the great experience. Can’t wait for our next trip.

Captain Eric was awesome! He is experienced and extremely knowledgeable about the gulf fisheries. He was very helpful with a kind demeanor and ability to teach the beginner to the most seasoned fisherman. Captain kept us on fish the entire trip without spending lots of time traveling from spot to spot.
This captain is a top notch host.

We went out on a 4 hour inshore tour and had a terrific time! We caught some snook, a blue crab and unfortunately, a bird! Captain Eric did a great job at safely freeing that bird. Captain Eric does a great job educating you about the fish, what they like, where they live..... We've only ever fished lakes so this was a brand new experience for us. We highly recommend and will definitely go again!

Captain Eric was fantastic. He knew exactly where to find all the fish and was excellent with accommodating us novice anglers. We caught multiple kinds of fish which we were able to take the trout that were in season to have fried up for us later. Also saw some sea turtles, dolphins and a nice big nurse shark! I would highly recommend Gulfcart charters to anyone looking to do some serious fishing or just in it for a good time.
