The Gulf Island Ferry was a fantastic experience! The crew was friendly, funny, and super welcoming—they even took our pictures! We saw dolphins, enjoyed great music, and loved that we could bring drinks on board. The ride from Bridge Street (AMI) to downtown Bradenton was smooth and scenic. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this ferry ride is a must-do! 🚤🐬🎶
Highly recommend and can’t wait to do it again! 🌴✨

Terri is a joy to have as our guide on the ferry! She is a wealth of knowledge and her kindness and joy have us coming back again and again! She shares stories and takes a family pic each time we visit. We are so glad the ferry is running again! We will be back!

Love this ferry, it's a great ride to Anna Maria Island and such a great price! Been on this 4-5 times already in the past few months & love the free trolley & buses around town! If you just want to see the sunset you don't have to get off of the boat, leave RW at 7 head to island for pick ups and head back ! Captain Nick is my ultimate favorite with the best first mates Traci or Charlie & I can't forget Captain Rick( but I may have gotten his name wrong)because he's super cool too! Love the boat & the workers make it even better !

Had a great time taking the ferry to Bridge Street today. We weren’t sure what to expect but the ferry was very clean with fun crews. It was a perfect day to enjoy the water ride, trip to the beach (if you like) and lunch. Lots of restaurants to choose from and cute shops to explore. We saw manatees & a dolphin! Will definitely be taking this again very soon!

What an adventure, great ride from AMI to Bradenton and back! Fabulous customer service from Terry (purchasing tickets) to Terrie and Charlie on the ferry as well as captains Dennis and....I'm afraid I didn't get his name on the ride to Bradenton. I hope you continue this service and I will definately be back for another ride when I'm in the area.

Fun day trip and a great way to get on the water. Shopped on Bridge St, lunched on the sand at Beach House, and walked the shore all without worrying about parking (or paying the crazy $15/hour rates) The trip takes about an hour each direction. We went on a beautiful sunny day in February; mid 70s and low wind. However it still is breezy on the boat; suggest a jacket for similar temps.

Had an amazing day on the Ferry and AMI. Our Captain, Nick, and First Mate Charlie kept us entertained and informed while on board. Smooth sailing for a busy Easter Day on the water. Definitely will return and highly recommend it for others. It is a great way to spend the day without worrying about driving and parking.
