My mom and I, and my 2 youngest daughters stayed 5 nights during Spring break, while visiting family in the area. This cabin was (Holly House) was clean, and perfectly adequate for us...adorably decorated and equippped with antiquish looking supplies--especially the kitchen. We cooked several several meals in the kitchen, and I absolutely loved using the antique gas stove!
We also enjoyed the front and back porch where children can eat popcorn and it doesn't matter if they spill it 🤣...
The clawfoot tub in the bathroom...
The cozy living room...
And of course the YUMMY cinnamon rolls!

We enjoyed the self-guided tour of the grounds and all the historic buildings. And the children enjoyed Nerf battles outside.

Perfect peaceful getaway, cabins were clean, felt secluded, firewood cut for fireplace and fire pit!
Toured the farm, so interesting & Dr Freeman was very informative! Also loved his books in the cabin ( we both had books with us to read) but ended up reading the books & materials provided in cabin! Loved the bushes and trees as well especially the holly! Would love to see when the blueberries, raspberry are ripe s well. Cotton gin was very interesting!
The complimentary cinnamon rolls were amazing!!
Nearby was the spot and the Olympic steak house which had not only wonderful food and variety but the friendliest staff! Loved our get away for New Years!

Was a wonderful peaceful stay. Enjoyed the cabin we stayed in and the history involved with the location. Exploring the place and having full access to everything was great. We will most definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful stay.

This farm is AMAZING. Every detail in the cabins are historically accurate / authentic. Cabins are beautifully designed, and very comfortable and clean. The grounds are immaculately maintained and spotless. We rented the whole property for a family reunion / celebration of life for a great grandparent. The Families stayed in the cabins, we gathered in the barn for group meals.

We used the chapel for a celebration of life ceremony. After the ceremony, the young family members fished for hours and caught many! The teens explored the historical general store and played sports on the expansive grassy areas, and the adult sipped cocktails on the patio watching the kids play. Perfect spot for all ages!

The family that owns and maintains the farm went above and beyond to help make the weekend perfect. Lastly, the homemade cinnamon rolls that are provided in every cabin should be illegal they are so good.

I 100% agree with the previous review that it’s similar to blackberry farms. Highly recommended!!

Perfect for my situation an event at the event center. thoroughly enjoyed the stay. missed a TV to keep up with the world but got by probably good to get away from all the news and enjoy the quiet time the host was very helpful throughout the stay the road noise was bothersome at time but got use to it a walk around the property was a treat with the exercise grounds seem very well kept which has to be a task the cinnamon buns were an added treat

This stay was fabulous! We drove from Chicago and it was a 7 hour drive and well worth the drive! The Corn Crib cabin we stayed in was very comfy and had everything we needed. It felt like we went back 100 years. The wife and I decided to celebrate our 2 year anniversary (Cotton is the traditional gift) and what better way then to have 3 days of peace and quiet while visiting an old cotton gin. The property is surrounded by buildings that have been refurbished and some go back to over 100 years.

I would recommend this stay for anyone looking to get out of the hustle and bustle and do yourself a favor and order the homemade cinnamon buns WOW!!

We were in town for a wedding and booked a cabin to be close. We were NOT disappointed! The cabin was cozy, and had everything we needed! Would recommend for a nice weekend getaway or even a longer stay.
