We went there for my toddler's Birthday as a family vacation. The location is quite accessible. Even though it's close to a highway it doesn't feel like that. We skipped the long line with an online check-in kiosk. And it was easy, but it didn't show any room. Those details come to your phone and email. There are plenty of kids activities from Thursday to Sunday listed near the entrance where the small stage is. The children's pool area was warm and lots of kids were there too on a Friday evening. There are watchful life guards on duty. The wave pool was fun , but it wasn't on all the time. That was a bummer. We only had breakfast from the lodge. But I took the other meals from nearby places, as the reviews said it was better to go outside. Overall it was a good place to bring kids.

Everything in this resort is designed to extract as much money as quickly as possible from you $15 parking, $10 lockers, etc etc. Booked an "upgraded" room for children which is actually outside one of the main entertainment areas. No sound attenuation so you need to put up with the noise of people screaming until 10pm minimum. No choice here just "put up with it". Generally kind staff but they look like they don't want to be there and seem detatched and numbed to the situation. Excessive rules which make no sense. You can have a birthday cake for a child but not light a candle. You can take drinks from the bar but no more than two at a time. Yes it's appealing for kids, but value for money is terrible. Hairs and fluff floating around the hot tub area crammed with people. Why you would put kids rooms adjacent to an area with loud games and encouraged people to howl like wolves at 930pm is beyond me.

I want to start by saying every staff members we interacted with, the concierge, the life guards, the maintenance man, were beyond polite.

The rooms were large and roomy but our chairs were wobbly and broken and the handle broke on our sink the second I touched it. Maintenance came and repaired it quickly though. The beds were hard, the pillows were lumpy, and the walls were thin and you could hear everything in the hall or in neighboring rooms.

The water park was fun and my kids loved it. We were shocked by how many people there were though. We went on a school night expecting it to be more empty. It was not empty at all. It was packed. About a quarter of the water park was under construction though so that may have contributed to the density of people. They really should decrease their numbers though if they are going to run the park while 1/4 of it is not open.

There are a lot of local restaurants so you have other options than just the park. We want to the Mill and loved it.

Our first time going to Great Wolf in Fitchburg MA and we were not impressed. We stayed for 2 days/2 nights, and took our 6 and 4 year old. There is a $15 parking charge per night which seems ridiculous. We did not return the towels to the pool area because no one told us we had to. They charged us $60 for this the day after we left. $20 per towel. I called and complained and was happy that they removed this charge but still cannot believe they charge people $20 per towel if left in the hotel room without any warning or signs. The main kids attraction in the water park was closed for construction so that was frustrating because the website said “a small portion of the water park is under construction” which seems misleading when it is the main kids play park. The rest of the water park was ok, but the kids got bored quickly. The food at the Bucket Shack was cold. We ordered burgers, chicken strips and fries. It all tasted like it was made the day before and left out. We ate all meals the next day offsite because we refused to pay high prices for super low quality food. Leaving the facility just to get a decent meal was frustrating but felt like a small win over paying more money for the low quality/over priced food that is available there. We played the magiquest game which is mostly in a main hallway. So people are walking by and you are in the way for most of it. We played the arcade a lot but naturally that is over priced as well. With the water park under construction it felt fitting, that there were also multiple arcade games out of order, as well as a magiquest station out of order. We were really excited to go but it felt like a huge let down for how much everything cost. Would it be that hard to have some decent food or to give the magiquest game its own area and not in a hallway that everyone is walking through? I understand stuff needs to be under construction but it should be way more clear that it is a major kids attraction that is closed because the majority of people that are going to this place are coming with kids.

I love this place . I’ve been at least 4-5 times so far . Plenty to do , love the arcade , build a bear, candy shop. Love the water park . My only complaint is food options. I think the buffet is overpriced for what is offered . At night can’t go wrong with Pizza but plenty within. A 10 min drive to get food if needed. Staff are all very helpful and nice

We had a great time. My 8 & 11 year old loved the magic quests and unlimited ropes/mini golf/rock climbing/water park. All the workers were fantastic interacting with the children, they were all so friendly and helpful.||We ate at the buffet for supper, and although delicious with a ton of options, it was expensive when converting to CAD.||The room we stayed in had 2 beds and a pull out. Presently surprised how quiet it was at might. Room could definitely use some updating.

TL:DR - absolutely not, don't waste your money. Only reason I went was it was a gift. Probably the worst resort I've ever been to. 3/10 for winter because it was an experience. 1/10 any other time because other options are just better. I'd go-to the beach over this place.

I don't even know where to start. They say check in is at like 4pm? We got there at 2pm and the line just grew as time went on. Saturday was an absolute disaster.

Part of the water park was under construction, had to pay $15 a day to park, one restaurant on site for breakfast was a joke.

The things they had to do were pretty cool. Adventure quest was neat, the kids weren't too interested though. The arcade was really bad compared to 80s standards, most arcades are this bad now.

The water park was overcrowded, as to be expected. A lot of people during Saturday so we opted for the other included activities, which were fairly lackluster. The only good thing was the rope play area, the kids enjoyed that.

The place was clean, for the most part, it was exciting for a day or 2, but the price was absolutely outrageous. 3/10, I would definitely not recommend. If it were summer, this is a straight 1/10, go anywhere, it's better than this place.

Price rivaled Disney for an extremely lackluster experience.

Wasn't planning on writing a review, but here I am.

Unfortunately all three kids I brought to Great Wolf this week came home with a chemical burn from the unacceptable levels of chlorine in the water in the water park. They took showers every night as well to wash it off, but unfortunately, that didn't prevent the chemical burn.

Then, when I looked it up on Google, there was an article about how children were getting chemical burns from there back in October 2024. Take this as your warning! I'm not going back...

Aside from that, prices for food are insane and the lack of options make it extremely difficult to eat happily for any amount of stay, unless if you bring your own food items. I HIGHLY recommend doing so. Especially since my kids also had bones in the chicken fingers...

No complaints about the staff at all. Everyone was very nice. But this place needs to be revamped and that water needs to be fixed ASAP. The ride home was rough with my kids all being itchy and in pain.
