This is my second time staying at the hotel, and my expectations were exceeded. Although I read some concerning reviews, I went with the good memory of my first stay and stayed here anyway. Everything was amazing from the moment we stepped in. The smell of the hotel is amazing and transports you to an instant state of relaxation. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, a perfect view, and even 2 restrooms (which proved to be essential). The pool and hot tub outside have the best view, and they are perfect to unwind at the end of a long day. The fitness center was very well equipped! In summary, the property itself was great, but the customer service we encountered was outstanding! It was definitely the cherry on top to a perfect stay! We felt at ease since the moment we were greeted, and Bryan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for showing a superior level of care and being consistently present and attentive to our needs. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

I have stayed at the Grand Beach Bay Harbor countless times over the past four years with my wife while visiting her parents, who live in the area. Additionally, other members of the family have stayed here and at other Grand Beach hotels in the area during their visits. Unfortunately, our most recent stay over Christmas and New Year’s revealed a noticeable decline in the quality of both the accommodations and service.

Initially, we had to pay for an upgrade to switch rooms after being placed in a second-floor room facing the street. The room was plagued by a loud thump from the AC unit every 20–30 minutes, in addition to street noise and gardeners waking us up early in the morning. We moved to a fifth-floor room facing the bay, which was much better. One of the front desk employees who assisted us with this was very helpful. However, the TV in our first room didn’t work properly, and the same issue occurred in the second room.

We also noticed a lack of attention from the housekeeping staff during our stay. While it wasn’t a major issue at first, things took a turn for the worse when we returned late one night to find that the bed had no sheet on the mattress. When we called to report the issue, we were told the hotel had no sheets left and that we would need to wait for a delivery. About an hour later, we were given a single flat sheet—which was stained.

However, it took several days for a manager to even be on-site and willing to speak with us. Voicing our frustration to the front desk staff did not create any urgency for the managerial staff to contact us or try to make things right. After three days, a manager finally showed up on the premises, and when my wife went down to speak with him, she was not treated with the respect she deserved as a loyal, paying customer.

In the end, the hotel waived our resort fees, which felt like an inadequate response given the issues we faced. To make matters worse, they later threatened to charge us $150 for a stain they claimed we caused on a sheet. Apparently, it is hotel policy to charge $150 per sheet they deem ruined, despite the fact that, based on the quality of the sheets they use, there is no way they pay anywhere near that amount for them. This policy is especially insulting given that they provided us with stained sheets during our stay.

This entire experience was deeply frustrating and insulting. We spent a significant amount of money to stay here for Christmas and New Year’s, and the hotel failed at every turn to meet even basic standards of cleanliness and service. Despite having ample opportunities to rectify the situation, they blatantly failed to satisfy a loyal customer.

As long as I can avoid it, I will never stay at a Grand Beach property again.

I stayed here for two weeks and it was a great experience. I had a balcony with a view of the bay and city. The water becomes very clear during the day and one morning from my balcony I saw a manatee swimming near the dock! They have a spa and pool near the bay for pure relaxation. Included in your stay you can have complimentary breakfast (with a much wider variety than in my picture 😂). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their gym has very nice equipment. I was very happy with my stay.

Update: We also saw an Iguana!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. I had an excellent experience. The entire staff was top notch.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were also very comfortable.
Special thanks to Carlos the bellman! He gave us wonderful recommendations on restaurants and things to see and do.
I would without a doubt stay here again!!

This was a perfect little hotel, and my new favorite. The location is amazing, cafes and restaurants close by, walking distance to Bal Harbour and the beach. The room was clean, spacious, modern and had everything needed. The staff was friendly and super helpful whan I came in. Having the breakfast and fresh coffee included is a big plus. The pool area is clean, cozy and lots of places to sit and relax. Only small downside, and this is not their fault, it is on a busy corner, so if you have a Sunset view room expect a little noise from the street. But I would still come back, and book the exact same room. Felt like home for 4 days 🙂

I stayed here with my mom and baby, and we had such an excellent time with great service! We requested to be the first room cleaned a couple of mornings so that my baby could nap early and they were very kind an accommodating. The staff were all excellent as well! More specifically, Carlos helped us get settled with our bags in our room and was so friendly and sweet to my son. Marco at the front desk also went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of!

The most beautiful and pleasant boutique hotel I've been to recently, everything is stunning and clean, pleasant music, wonderful smell, the staff is wonderful and kind, the pool. And the jacuzzi is at the exit from the lobby and the rooms are on the lobby floor facing a magical lake, there are many comfortable places to sit and rest. Pampering rooms 2 toilets 2 showers all white and clean. There are great restaurants in the area. Especially for those looking for kosher food. Fun to walk in the area. Highly recommend. We will be back.

This has been our go-to hotel for 2024 in Miami. I’ve lost count how many times we’ve stayed here just in the past 3 months and every single time we receive the same amazing service. |The staff is super nice, friendly and always welcoming with a smile. Extra points to Marco for dealing with our crazy family time and time again. We will be staying here 3 more times before the year ends.
