Positive: I really liked the ambiance of the hotel & property. All of the staff seemed very happy which created an all around good vibe. the front desk was extremely helpful!!! Negative: The bathroom.... The lighting was very dim. The tub drain was so slow, that you end up in ankle deep water during a shower. Better make sure you have enough water/snacks before the little market closes at 2! No vending machines!

Grand Bay Hotel is a hidden gem in the Bay Area! ||Staff is welcoming upon arrival and make check in easy. ||The hotel staff are professional, supportive and attentive to a guests needs, should one require anything the staff will manage the request quickly and with great proficiency. ||I would strongly recommend a relaxing stay in this high quality hotel with excellent amenities, a beautiful view over the water, comfortable pool side lounging, and staff members that truly care about providing the best stay possible. ||Kristen, Yellena, and Elaine, as well as all staff members, go above and beyond to welcome and support each individual guest. The first time staying at the Grand Bay Hotel. I would like to thank Jaime Cano for the recommendation as this hotel and the hotel restaurant did not disappoint. The rooms and restaurant are incredibly nice. I had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious and the servers were definitely knowledgeable of menu. |Thank you to Raul, Miguel and JC for the most welcoming service! ||Definitely coming back!

Have stayed at this property twice when in the Bay Area for business conferences. Was very impressed both times! Rooms are recently renovated, clean and spacious. Hotel staff is very professional and attentive. Attended a cocktail reception here once, and the drinks and appetizers were fabulous. Great value too! Will definitely return when back in the Bay Area.

Great service at waterside grill from Benny and Mia. Very prompt. Food was excellent. It was a great way to spend Mother’s Day dinner. The scenery was high quality watching the sunset. Would definitely return to this hidden gem down the peninsula.

The service at this hotel, specifically from the old lady the front desk, is atrocious. My dad and I experienced an attitude from her during check in which left us with a poor first impression. However, as I walked into the gym today, the front desk lady LITERALLY ran up to me and told me to leave because “no kids are allowed” (I’m 18). I informed her I am 18 and offered to show my ID and she tells me to SHUT UP because I do not look 18..? No apology was issued when I told her that her words were unappreciated and completely rude. I am astonished that she is allowed to act like this and I hope something is done about her.

Convenient business hotel when doing business with Oracle and other companies in the area.

Excellent room for business travelers, with plenty of room to set up multiple computers and a proper desk chair.

Restaurant and bar were good for breakfast and dinner.

My only criticism is the LifeFitness machines in the gym do not function properly, so I was not able to get a decent workout while I was at the hotel.
