We cannot thank Mike, Karen, and Skye enough for making our wedding day a truly unforgettable and blessed experience! Grace River Island Resort is absolutely beautiful. Mike has been the kindest, most responsive, and easy-to-work-with owner throughout the entire process. His attention to detail and genuine care for our big day made everything so smooth and stress-free.

Skye, the venue coordinator, was a true blessing. She went above and beyond throughout the entire day, ensuring that everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Her support made all the difference, and we are so thankful for her help.

The venue provided everything we could have possibly needed—from vendor referrals and tables, chairs, and linens, to toiletries, hair dryers, and eating utensils. They even had games, grills, beach towels, bridal and groom suites, and a stunning cross arbor. It was clear that everything was thoughtfully provided to make our day as beautiful and seamless as possible.

Our families can’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and some are already planning to rent the space again for a family reunion! We are so grateful to the Petersons and Skye for making our wedding day not only memorable but also a true blessing. We will cherish and remember this day for the rest of our lives.

My son & now daughter-in-law had their wedding here 9.14.24. It was absolutely a beautiful setting! Mike is organized and had multiple conversations with us through the entire process. It was so nice that the wedding party could stay with the Bride & Groom on site. They have thought of all the details to stock the resort with everything we might have needed. Mike & Karen were going out of the country on the day of my son’s wedding but left us in good hands with their assistants Skye & Aaron. Everything went great! This is such a beautiful setting from the long entry way to the sunset on the water.

My wife and I had our wedding here and it could not have been more perfect. From the staff and amenities to the beautiful location and the views of the sunset. They have a boat dock for a rental if you get one. Warm pool. Cool AC. Comfy beds. Everything you need for a relaxed stay or a big wedding. Included is linens, tables& chairs. Lots of places make you rent those but they are included. As well as a clubhouse for rain or to escape the heat. Mike and Skye were amazing. Just at arms length when needed and out of the way when we wanted some privacy. I can’t recommend this place more. It’s perfect!!

This is a beautiful hidden gem, Airbnb accommodation which doubles as a venue. I had the pleasure of performing a wedding here, and was thoroughly impressed, the possibilities are endless, they even have a monetized boat to be able to enjoy their like, and they weather was beautiful when I was there, but they are fully equipped with extra event paces that can accommodate a wedding reception or part in case of rain.

I don’t know what else I can say other than you have to book Grace River Island for your next special event. We got married at Grace River on December 7 and I have nothing to complain about. Mike was great at communicating for the past year and a half i had booked the venue and come the day of my event Skye was attentive and ensured any questions or concerns we had through out the day were promptly resolved. She even helped with some last minute finishing touches for the day that we weren’t quite prepared for since we had flown in from Canada two days prior. Me and my husband can’t wait to celebrate an anniversary at Grace River sometime in the future !

My husband and I had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at Grace River Island, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—nestled by the river, surrounded by nature with a peaceful atmosphere that made our day feel like a true fairytale.

A huge thank you to the incredible owners, Karen and Mike, who made us feel like family from the very start. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for our special day were evident at every step of the process. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how we envisioned, and their passion for creating magical moments was inspiring.

We also cannot thank Skye, the coordinator, enough. Skye’s attention to detail, organizational skills, and calm, reassuring presence made everything run so smoothly. She helped us navigate all the little decisions and ensured everything was perfectly timed and stress-free. Thanks to her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment, knowing we were in the best hands.

The entire team at Grace River Island made our wedding day flawless—from the setup, to the ceremony, to the reception. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable, beautiful experience.

This venue is beautiful and accommodating. Up to 20 guests can stay at the venue. We booked it for 2 nights. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at GRIR the night before our wedding and stayed overnight again after the wedding. We had the most beautiful 360 degree sunsets both nights. The weather was perfect. We were allowed to have our dogs in our ceremony. Everything worked out great. Mike the owner did a fantastic job with vendor suggestions. He’s very professional and helpful.
