Wonderful wonderful place and so educational for the kids and adults! I went when I was a child and now my daughter has been able to go too. If you ever get the chance it is definitely worth the cost and all the money helps keep the program going for years to come.

I have loved this lovely gem of a city park my whole life. They are starting to do a lot of updates and I am very excited to see what is on the horizon for my toddler son to enjoy. Right now he is a big fan of the planetarium shows and the watershed which is home to some native fish and turtles. They have a kids crawl-through cave, and lots of other informative and interactive displays in the nature center including a super cool honeybee exhibit. The trails, the lake, and the programs are all wonderful as well.

We enjoyed all the wildlife and displays. There was a school day event with lots of well behaved kids that day. It did rain so think about bringing umbrella or raincoat for walking between locations.

Planetarium show was not as good as I remember as it was just a canned show with little star action and more video and pictures. ramp in building no longer has a rail which could be problematic for the older visitors. Also, exhibits inside were not varied and had a massive bee display that quite frankly could have been minimized to provide room for other interests (space, native animals, etc). Still, great place to go.

I can not say enough about this amazing place. I have been going there for 36 years. I still remember my first time when I was in kindergarten. I was blown away by the animals and nature center. Obviously there have been updates but it still amazes me every time I go. We love the planetarium, the star/sun gazing. The only thing we have not done is the Zipline! The trails are well maintained and beautiful no matter the season. If you are afraid of heights be sure and do the hike to the fire tower. You will get over that fear quick just from the sheer beauty seen from the top! I began taking my kids when they were able to walk. My husband proposed to me here. We were married here. I have been on every trail dozens of times! I have actually begged them to let me live there lol Go one time and you will definitely go back!

Terrific place to go. Lots of hiking with lots of options. All the animals are great. The museum shows how our ancestors lived in the past. Love the planetarium. Watch every new show. The snake shows and the Wolf shows are great. Love to see the bobcat show and ride the barge. Take a picnic and stay all day.

Beautiful area on top of the mountain. Plenty of hiking and running trails. Wildlife exhibit with deer, wolves, bobcat, a reptile house, turtles, birds including an assortment of owls and hawks, and fish. There is a barge ride, but I havent been on it. The planetarium shows are not expensive at all but very informative and entertaining. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Kids and seniors can fish in the lake. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash and cannot enter the wildlife exhibit.
