We had the opportunity to have GigSetGoFL and DJ Black Haze as our wedding DJ on 2/22/25, and he was nothing short of fantastic. He was exceptional at "reading the crowd" and having everyone on their seat the entire time. He played banger after banger across many different genres. I highly recommend you hire this company for your next event or wedding. Kurt, who was my main contact at GigSetGoFL, was extremely professional and easy to communicate with, making our dream turn into a reality. 10/10

We were recommended to use Kurt through our wedding planner, and we are so thankful! Kurt provided the mic system for our ceremony, was the DJ for our reception, and provided our Photo Booth. He was prompt with responses and you could tell he wanted to cater the day to us. He offered us the option of providing some music we wanted or letting him take on all of the music. We ended up doing a little something in between and he was AMAZING. Our dance floor was full all night, he read the crowd perfectly. Our guests had a blast and did not want the dancing to stop thank you to Kurt. The photobooth was a hit and we got so many compliments and great pictures. Kurt also was wonderful at carrying the night with announcements and keeping the night flowing. He was fun, organized, and affordable. We are so grateful we were able to work with him and would highly recommend him to anyone else!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing our experience was working with Kurt. Our original DJ had dropped out on us last minute, Literally the day before and Kurt was quick to step in and give us a party of a lifetime!!! He was very attentive to what we wanted and kept the guest on the dance floor. It is not easy to find a DJ that is talented, hardworking and hilarious like Kurt! We would hire him over and over again if we could. It was the best wedding reception EVER!!!

Kurt was great! He was very communicative leading up to the wedding, and his questionnaire ahead of time was very detailed and clear. We even made a few last-minute song changes right before the reception and he rolled with the punches.

Our friends and family raved about the music and how enjoyable it was across all generations. The dance floor stayed busy all night!! My husband and I would pick Kurt over and over again!

a REALLY POOR EXPERIENCE on the day of Our Wedding with GigSetGo and the owner Kurt!
We shared meticulous details with Kurt prior to our wedding, for the set list, and certain songs we wanted played. Kurt assured us that he was going to be handling our event, and would make sure everything was perfect. We had several emails with him, and 3 phone conversations confirming what we wanted, and he assured us, he would get everything perfect, and he would be at our venue by 2:30pm to set-up.
Well, on the day of our wedding, he doesn't show up, and sends a replacement person who knows NOTHING about our event, except the notes Kurt has given him. We don't know its not Kurt, because we are getting ready for our wedding, and our co-ordinator has never met Kurt. The new guy, Jamal, doesn't know where to set up, gets to our venue after 3pm, gets set-up late, and from there it gets worse. He missed cues for when to start the wedding music, when to start the music after the ceremony is complete, the start of our first dance music, and the toast song. We had some guests request music to play at our event, and we gave a list of these people to Kurt, so he could announce their names when their song was played - never happened.
In fairness to Jamal, he didn't know, as these were all discussions held with Kurt. The music for dancing was good, but wasn't the variety we requested.
The final straw - we asked Kurt, if everyone was still having a good time and dancing at the end of his contracted time (10pm), could we pay him to stay longer, and Kurt said of course. Not Jamal - he said a definite NO, and said he had to be packing up and out of there; at 10:03pm the last song finished, and he was packing up!
We paid for up-lighting, never got it....We paid for Kurt to handle our event, and he couldn't even call us to say he wouldn't be there. Wouldn't return our calls for several days, and then, after speaking with us, offers a $150 refund on a $1,300 service! Not a professional service.
We DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND GigSetGoFL

Kurt and Mel at GigSetGo are the best!
If my wife and I were to do our wedding reception all over again, GigSetGo would be first on our list.

No detail was overlooked.
Kurt made things so easy, never missed a beat and was incredibly flexible to help us with last minute requests.

The pyrotechnic were a blast and we all love the photobooth (we got some hilarious photo's from that).

Can't say enough things. Go with GigSetGo, you won't be disappointed!
