We visit breweries every weekend and have been to over 30 and by farThis is in the best brewery in the bay hands down. The atmosphere is fun and if I could put the service at ten stars I would. We visited again last Sunday for the Super Bowl Sunday called for reservations and kick off time unfortunately no reservations but the owner told us to be there by 245 for good seats and we got great seats. He even called me back to confirm the kick off time.Cause I got the kick off time confused. The two drinks of the day were great the phillyrita and the malaria but ironically the Phillyrita by far was better. If you want great service and a great beer please visit this place. I cannot wait for them to bring back the hannibal nectar.

Embarking on a culinary journey at Ghostwood Kitchen on a bustling Friday evening was an absolute delight, albeit with a brief 10-15 minute wait during the dinner rush. The open-seating arrangement gave a lively feel to the atmosphere. As we explored the menu, the Reuben egg rolls stood out as a unique and flavorful surprise, a perfect starter. The Smash burger with cheese curds satisfied carnivorous cravings, and the Buffalo Blue Chicken Sando added a zesty kick to the ensemble. Service was impressively prompt, ensuring a seamless experience. To enhance the flavors, we paired our meal with a robust porter, enhancing the richness of the dishes, and a crisp pale ale that beautifully complemented the variety of flavors. Don't miss out on the fried cheese curds – they are undoubtedly worth the indulgence. Ghostwood Kitchen is a top choice for those seeking inventive dishes, efficient service, and a well-rounded dining experience, especially when accompanied by thoughtfully selected beer pairings.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a new brewery open that is this nice and polished. The place feels high end without being pretentious or snobby, they employ one of the best brewers in the Bay Area, and they serve some of the best food in the area. Tough to miss here. Great area to walk around as well.

The best and most delicious spot for brunch! I recently visited this place and it immediately became my favorite spot. I can't wait to go back and try every item on their menu. The first time I went was an amazing experience. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff. The seating is open, and I joined my friend at the bar. We ordered a variety of dishes including shrimp and grits, chilaquiles with red sauce, carnitas, and scrambled eggs, blue collar breakfast, and fruity pebbles French toast. Every single item was absolutely delicious, and the food came out quickly. The service was excellent, with the staff paying great attention to detail. They regularly checked on customers to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I appreciate that they open early for brunch on weekends from 10AM-2PM. Additionally, their bathrooms were very clean and I liked that they were gender-neutral, eliminating any wait time. It wasn't too busy when I visited, but it's good to know nonetheless.

Ghostwood is a welcome addition to downtown Redwood City, with some great beer, cocktails and food.

Highlights:
- Food is absolutely delicious, their chef is killing it
- Vegetarian options are numerous, and they care about being accommodating to dietary preferences and restrictions
- Drinks include a variety of house beers, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic options
- Seating includes tables, bar, and patio seating which allows dogs
- Service is friendly, and incredibly fast even during their absolutely mobbed opening event
- They use Toast Tab for mobile phone ordering, which I personally absolutely love. Makes closing out and placing orders way faster
- Location is very walking-accessible to the main downtown area but quiet compared to the heart of downtown Redwood City

Note: They are currently not accepting cash payments, except for tips. Cards and Toast/online pay only
