This was a mother-daughter trip. We loved it! Seth and Meris are very welcoming and knowledgeable sharing the history of the Gila National Forest and the people who've lived there.

The horses are sweet, well-trained, and well cared for. We felt very comfortable riding for four days even though we hadn't ridden in years.

The scenery was beyond spectacular! I felt like I was on a western movie set!

And the food. We all couldn't wait to get to the next meal. Stephanie is a gourmet cook. I happily gained five pounds during my stay. You will have a wonderful time!

We love this place, the owners Meris & Seth have the perfect antidote to life’s stresses. Off the grid, great horses, great food and what a beautiful part of the world…we are biased though, our 4th visit, 10,000 mile return trip UK/NM. On our last evening, sat around the log fire, Meris played Native American pipes, accompanied by her father Harry, 85 years young, on a bass contraption. The moon popped out from behind the
Mountains, joining the millions of stars in the sky….perfect! We hope to come again soon….Bob, Isla & Hannah.

Great food and a fabulous experience. Loved our cabin enjoyed, our horses and the riding. The scenery was fantastic and every day kept getting better. [Every day was special] The hosts were great and I would recommend this ranch strongly. The Gila Forest is a special place and we loved it.

This was an amazing experience from the attention to detail in every aspect. The food I was dreaming about long after I left! The accommodations were relaxing and comfortable. The rides were gorgeous and the horses were excellent for beginning riders. One minute you were in a gorge the next you were on a mountain ridge. This was a wonderful experience and rejuvenating from the rush of city life.

My husband and I just returned from a phenomenal 5 days at Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch. From arrival in the remote Gila National Forest to the magical campfire on the last night, we were treated to a slice of ranch life by Meris and Seth. The combination of terrific hosts, incredible scenery, gentle and beautiful horses and amazing food (Steph is the best!) made for an epic vacation for these 2 beginner riders. We always felt safe, with gentle instruction from Seth and Meris. The combination of serious riding in canyons, forests, meadows, and many fun conversations made for a fantastic time. They are doing it right in every way.

My husband and I and three friends have just returned from a 5 night visit to Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch. If you are looking for a small, off the grid, unique and peaceful spot this is the place for you. The rides are filled with spectacular scenery with Meris giving the history of the area along the way. Seth's meals are not only absolutely delicious but healthy as well. If you love horses like we do you will appreciate the fact that these horses are well trained and very well cared for! It was a wonderful haven from the turmoil that surrounds us these days. I highly recommend a visit to the Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch!

It’s been 30 days since our stay at Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch and we’re still talking and reminiscing about the beautiful trail rides through the Gila National Forest. If you’re looking for a serene, warm and friendly ranch with well-trained horses, wonderful hosts and great scenery, this is the ranch for you. The food was made to order by Fred, an incredible chef that planned delicious, unique meals! The horses were gorgeous, and in incredible physical condition. They traversed rocky, muddy streams, rock faces, steep slopes, deep sand...all with the goal of getting to pristine areas with spectacular views. LOVED being off the grid, it was the first time we didn't work during vacation. Meris and Seth were a wealth of knowledge about the area, wildlife and the nearby archeological sites. They assured we had a wonderful and personalized experience. Definitely coming back!
