Recently took a tour of Dallas. We booked through Trip Advisor. Fun Texas Tours. Our guide was Dan, most outstanding tour guide we have ever encountered. His vast knowledge on the history of Dallas was phenomenal. He made the trip fun, educational and relaxing. He was so detailed that when we went on the route where Kennedy was assassinated, it felt as if we were there, I had tears in my eyes. We would highly recommend you book Dan through Trip Advisor “Fun Dallas Tours” if you ever visit Dallas, it’s a worthwhile investment.

Had a fantastic Welcome to Dallas tour with guide Dan. He was energetic, knowledgeable, and a gifted speaker. Super sharp guy and managed people well too. We had a couple fellows in our group that could have spent the whole tour talking football -- not what we paid to learn about! He recognized this fast and pulled the conversation back to Dallas. Very happy with tour and happy to recommend Dan!

My family enjoyed our tour with Preston. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned TONS. The tour was amazing. We got to go all around Dallas and learn about all the intricacies of the people, places and politics of the time. Preston took the time to give us a stop along the tour to get a snack and we really enjoyed his story-telling!

I can't even tell you how much we enjoyed this tour. We did the combo Dallas / JFK tour with Preston and both the tour and Preston were AWESOME !!!!!!!! My wife and I have taken tours all over and the communication that I got up to, that morning, and all the way through the tour was great. Preston is respectful about staying on time and wants to make sure that you understand the material. He is very open to questions and you can tell is not just reading a script. The transportation was great, the vans were clean and the value of the tour was tremendous. The JFK tour was the best part Preston was so knowledgeable on the subject. He debunked some myths, gave some hard-core statistics and data, and then left a couple of questions open-ended for you to make your own discoveries like a great teacher will! I would come back and take this tour again just because there was so much info I didn't get it all, but I will ask for Preston and so should you if you are looking at this tour!!!!

Don't ever book with this company. Raining all day on Saturday, they will still keep this schedule or not. Keep that in mind if you book. I found out the tour is free and you can read all of the information you need to understand the outcome. The are for the book depository was only $24.00 each ticket. Fun Dallas Tours charged me $75.00 for the same thing. If your in the area go to the Stockyards .

I've read a lot about the JFK Assassination, so booked the full tour. It included entry to the Museum on the 6th and 7th floors as well as the Oswald's Rooming House.

We got a great overview of Dallas and its beginnings, starting with the JFK Memorial, stories about the founder of Dallas, Dealey and the plaza named after him.

Orlando was our competent, friendly, and funny guide. He was compassionate about his customers and helped them in and out of the van.

The van was about a 15 seater, but we luckily only had 12 (plus the driver). There were quite a few stops with invitations to get out to take photos. At one location, the group decided NOT to get out. It was a cool and windy day.
