Friendship Fountain is amazing. I personally only live 2 miles from here but if you don't it's still worth the drive. I mean, water, lights and music. What's not to love?! Highly recommend doing some research on Jax to to make it that much more interesting. Lock love bridge has expanded to basically anywhere you can add a lock. Very precious.
We are newly an open container city in that particular area so bring your spicy juice!
The only downside at the moment is they are still working on parking. If you live close, you know how to park. If you're coming from further away, keep in mind parking is free on the weekends. ENJOY!

We saw this amazing little treasure in Jacksonville at the end of December 2024 on a pretty sunny day and also the next night so that we could see both day and night water shows. There is no charge for the shows. They are incredible and you actually feel cleansed inside from stress of daily life. It gave me a great feeling!

Friendship Fountain is located in St. Johns River Park (a/k/a Friendship Park), on the south bank of the river, just west of Main Street. The park provides a wonderful view of downtown Jacksonville and access to the Southbank Riverwalk that opened in 1985. In addition, the Jacksonville Maritime Museum is located on the Riverwalk, adjacent to the northeast corner of the park. There us a museum there as well as a little restaurant. Spend a couple of hours here, you won't regret it.

The fountain flows from 8:00 am to 10 pm daily. Showtimes are 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm nightly.

There is parking available at the park. We plan to go back again later this year.

This is a really nice and safe place to take a walk, or just lounge at the stationary tables and people watch. Close to the Riverwalk and the Chart House restaurant, there's a water taxi and dock as well, so there's plenty to see and do. This is also where the NYE fireworks show will be held. Wonderful!

Went for a peaceful stroll by the fountain before catching our flight back to DC. I was also able to get some amazing daytime shots of the Riverwalk & Jacksonville Skyline.

No matter how many times I go I always love it and it’s a nice view. My family loves it. The kids have a good time. It’s a great place for pictures and specially at night. The lights look beautiful sometimes they have a little light show and the fountain and, the water plays at the same rhythm of the music and is very nice

A good park with a beautiful fountain and a view of the skyline in Jacksonville. They had food trucks and they also had a concert they gathered a lot of people. It is 1 of the best parks if you ever visit Jacksonville, Florida.

The fountain, open daily 8:00 am - 10:00 pm, is beautiful during the day and especially at night during the shows. They have nightly shows with music and lights at 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 pm. The park provides a wonderful view of downtown Jacksonville and access to the Southbank Riverwalk. It's a fun, family-friendly space that can even be enjoyed solo.

Several events are hosted there with music, food trucks, and other vendors. Our favorite is First Fridays, held on the first Friday of every month.

The City did such a great job bringing this back to life!
What once was a run down and dirty area is now this incredible fountain dancing along to the music with such a great view of the city skylines in the shadows behind.

It's definitely crowded due to the nature but I had no problem finding a parking spot and a place to circle around to see if for myself.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area
