My name is Wayne and I’m the Director of Operations for a recreational/sports company. Being the person who usually self-books all of our company travel, I was truly amazed at how both cost efficient and effective working with Freedom Travel was. I usually just pick up the phone or email them where and when my staff have to go and Richard is ready to provide various solutions for my travels. In the past, I’ve had multiple different group trips booked with different travel agencies and they don’t compare to how both responsive and collaborative Freedom Travel is. From my initial consultation with Richard where he perfectly understood our companies needs, to the seamless booking process, everything is always top-notch. Our travel agent, Richard Safety, is incredibly attentive, provides me with personalized recommendations and ensures that all our travel details are always taken care of…he’s super informative and always seems to go above and beyond to find you exactly what you need. He just doesn’t book your reservation and forget about you like so many agents do nowadays.
I usually book about 60-70 flights around the county each year for my staff with very exacting timelines and specific dates. Richard Safety totally takes the hassle out of the planning for me! I’ve had to move dates around a couple of times due to unforeseen circumstances and he without any hesitation accommodates me! He also books car rental reservations for us as well. Even when I’m out of town, I can email him throughout my trip with questions or changes and he responds almost immediately.

I left Richard a message about booking a flight back home. I waited patiently for a call back. When after a few days he didn’t return the call, I called him and to my surprise he wanted to make it seem as if I was in the wrong for not calling him again. This is not in keeping with best practices. He should have apologized and then attended to my request. Best practice dictates call back within a 24 hour window. At most 48hours. I gave him three stars to motivate him to take this to heart and make improvements in customer service.

We just returned from a fab 3 week vaction in Europe! We worked with Richard Safarty, owner of Freedom Travel, for 6 months, discussing our trip. He listened to our requests and combined with his extensive travel knowledge, planned it all out --- airfares, hotels, transportation transfers, and our river cruise down the Danube. We spent a week in Belgium and Germany before embarking on the cruise. Richard selected wonderful sweet boutique hotels in Brussels and Berlin - in neighborhoods full of fun cafes and museums. We've been using Richard's services for years without an issue. Even when I think I've found the best rates, Richard always seems to do better. Most recently, Richard stayed right on top of our need to cancel a "non-refundable reservation" with a London hotel, ultimately getting us a long-term credit for future travel. Rich at Freedom Travel set our group of 10 friends up for an incredible
12 day trip to Israel and Jordon. The trip was very well organized and every detail was taken care. Rich was very professional and very helpful in planning the trip and staying in touch with his ground operator in
Israel Keane Tours to make sure we were well taken care of each day of our trip. We saw so many amazing sites and our guide Yarif was just so informative and made our trip very special. Very disappointed. I left 2 email messages and tried many times to call. When I was finally able to get to speak to someone, the gentleman on the phone could not have been less interested in helping me plan my trip. He indicated that it would be "oh I'd say about $150 per city." to help you.
Maybe if I was booking a cruise he would have been more enthusiastic...I think I'll take my business elsewhere.
