This one has been on our travel list for a while...was excited that the XC Team had a meet here. WIREGRASS KINGS ROCK.! Decent price to get in...parking good..easy ingress easy out.. Bathrooms ok....now here comes the let down...LOTS of what used to be Fantastic trails..but most had trees down in them, bridges falling apart and just need overall maintenance. We are HUGE into the outdoors and trails and hiking...so this was a BIG let down...BUT we do not blame the park Management...its all about FUNDING and..well...those holding the tax bag are blowing it elsewhere...... The Forts were pretty cool. Monuments neat. Great views of the rivers..in the not too long ago past, I bet this was an Amazing place...Especially with all the reenactments

Love Ft. Toulouse! Been visiting since 2007 and have been over 10 times since my wife died 9 months ago. My dog and I walk 3 hours and have such a great time. Pop in some ear buds and hit those trails and fields. Plenty of water spots for your dog to drink or just cool off. Make sure you always say hello to Sargeant Fontenot and Issac Ross, I always pour a little French Roast coffee ☕️ on both graves and talk to both. Frontier Days are awesome too!

Great little campground and historical park. There is 39 campsites some better than others like most campgrounds, just have to ride through and pick what's best for your unit. They have 50 & 30 Amp service and a dump station on your way out.

The bathrooms need some TLC. They're clean enough but old looking, 1 of the showers needs fixed so it stops wasting tons of water. The camping is very nice though. Lots of shade on every spot. Very affordable. Nice & quiet. Not much to do though. It's a good spot for peace & quiet and cheap camping. Wifi works.

This park has a nice little campground. There are about 40 dites. Camping is on paved shady sites with water and electric. There are also grassy tent sites. There is also a dump station. In another section of the park are exhibits for the Fort. The park also has a boat launch. Very reasonable rates for everything. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that the restrooms/showers in the campground really need to be updated.

It's a great little spot to go camping at, and there are some cool little historic forts as well. Beautiful landscape, great time.

You are able to camp, they do have camping grounds/RV. This place is beautiful and quiet. I'm looking forward to participating in the reenactment next weekend! This place is full of history and absolutely beautiful ❤️
