Enjoyed our visit. Choose the location for a stop on road trip and had a picnic. Walking paths were well marked and maintained. All markers were well maintained. The entire place was accessible too. Very clean and family friendly. Enjoyed touring the facilities and area.

A beautiful Saturday afternoon taking in a bit of history! The first stop was to check out “The Gallows” and the history of Judge Parker.

The reminder of our time was spent looking at everything this place had to offer. It was a joy to get into the air conditioning at the Visitor’s Center.
There was a lot of history to see there as well.

This is probably not high on anyone’s Bucket List but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had some great photo opportunities done there were not a lot of visitors.

If you happen to have free time and live within driving distance this is worth the stop in! If you’re passing through this is a great opportunity doing with several great places to eat! Just Yelp or up and decide for yourself!

A free way to learn some Arkansas history. This is a very informative museum. It's self guided except for the 15 minute movie at the beginning. You have to have the park personnel start it for you.

This is mainly an outdoor exhibit, which I enjoyed, but there is an inside portion as well. C'mon, let's walk around some...

I thought it was great lots of great information and large park to walk around and check things out, the exhibits were fun to recreate how people lived in the jail, and information about the famous lawmen was very interesting

We got here a few minutes after closing, and we were so bummed because we wanted to get our passport stamps. Lucky for us, the Ranger kindly let us in to get our stamps and use the restrooms. He probably saw us running up with our books, trying to make it in time. After we walked around a bit, it's very interesting and a wonderful part of history.
