We've loved coming to the Museum of Discovery over the years and watching our oldest, now 8, and our youngest, now 5, grow, explore, and play here. It's always such a fun time for our daughters, with so many interactive exhibits and activities to keep them engaged. Fun time when it’s not too crowded!

Great, hands on museum for kids and adults alike! Not a huge place but we took our time and our son had a blast. The music area in particular was really fun, it was cool to be able to play many different instruments, if your in FOCO or just don't mind the drive, this one should definitely be added to your list.

Fun. Hands on children's museum. There was enough to do, but some things weren't in working order. Would not recommend for adult only or even older (teenage) kids. I just don't really think there was enough to entertain an older crowd. It's definitely geared more towards a younger crowd.
Lots of exhibits involved music and instruments.

Very neat museum that teaches kids and adults so much about sound and music. It has a great area for learning about Colorado wildlife both past and present. My wife's favorite area is the tone matching machine...she hears a tone and then turns a dial to try to match the tone and it tells how close you are to the actual tone. My son liked playing the real drum set, my daughter liked the tornado simulator, and we all liked the magnetic wall with tubes for making a course for the golf balls. Very fun family place...takes about 90 minutes to truly enjoy it.

A great little museum and lots of fun for kids. It has been pretty much exactly the same for a long time so it gets a little stagnant. My kids enjoy it but we're from out of town so we don't go on a very regular basis. They've even removed some of the old activities that were enjoyable and some of the current ones seem broken. Still like the place but I wish they would revamp it a little.

My 4 year had a blast playing here on a hot summer day. The music garage and the interactive light room were two of his favorite things. It was much easier to navigate than the larger Denver one for my toddler.

10/10 would recommend. So many different music items. Huge water table, dress up, duplos, drawing, historic stuff, taxidermy animals, a giant toy train track, & so so many things that are impossible to describe, you just have to experience them. So many things to touch; very kid friendly!! Multiple restrooms. A cafe that is decently priced.
If you're from out of town, experience it while you're here.
If you live here, get a membership. Support this amazing place. If you're a family of 4 by the time you go two or three times, the membership has more than paid for itself!!
Love this place!
Update: still a great place, now they have animals to look at!!! My kids spent AGES staring at the rats, they adored them.
