I found this amazing company on instagram. I consulted with Heather and I immediately knew she was going to be the one to help me plan my wedding. Heather is patient, understanding, and accommodating. She allowed me to express my vision and thoughts with no judgement. Anything I brought to her attention was immediately situated. My traditions were new to her but she had no issue with it. She planned them into the wedding with perfection and learned their meaning to fully grasp my families culture.

The day of the venue tour, she explained everything in detail and allowed my family to make changes. Leading up to the day of the wedding, we were in constant communication. She prepared my family and I the night of the rehearsal so gracefully.

On the day of the wedding, Heather brought two assistants who were just as amazing as her. I wasn’t worried about nothing at all. They handled the day so gracefully. There is not a better team I could have asked for.

My family and I are eternally grateful for Heather. She’s now a life long friend. Eithan and I were blessed to have her. I 100% would recommend this team to any bride. ?

For The Love of Events gets a standing ovation!!!! They were the best planner I could have ever chose for my destination wedding.
I knew they were the one after having my consultation with Amanda. I had other consults elsewhere but Amanda was down to earth, confident and reassuring in my need and wants for a destination wedding planner. It was important to me to find someone that was okay with my type-A personality. Working with Heather was a pure joy as she was ALWAYS open to my ideas and my checklists? God bless you!!!!!

On the day of my wedding I got to enjoy my day, soak in every second and not worry about a thing. My family and friends still talk about our wedding to this day and that’s something very important to me. It shows that Heather and her team worked hard to ensure all the vendors were fulfilling their duties and were able to handle anything that came their way.

I had the pleasure of seeing Amanda in her element as the planner for my friend’s wedding a few years before my own. Her kindness and passion are truly admirable, and her willingness to go the extra mile is just what you need during any event. As someone like myself who loves planning and attention to the smallest of details, Amanda was so patient with any little question I had (and trust me, I had a lot) and was a great resource to bounce ideas off of. All vendors she recommended were amazing, and her connections with them only strengthened my connection with them during the planning process. The months leading up to the wedding and day-of were when I really came to appreciate the full impact of Amanda and her work. She helped with walk-throughs, sending details to other vendors, creating detailed schedules for the day, guiding me through last-minute asks or changes I had, and even listened to me vent or have a little meltdown over ribbon colors. A confidant, bodyguard, advocate, cheerleader, hand-holder, and friend: these are all ways I’d describe Amanda. For the Love of Events is much more than just a wedding and event planner service, they are an investment in peace of mind for your big day. I cannot recommend Amanda enough, and love to see all that she continues to do!

What an absolute pleasure it was working with Amanda! Planning a wedding from abroad can be a SUPER stressful process, but with Amanda's expertise, kind and calm demeanour, and extensive list of incredible local vendors, we didn't have to worry about a thing! It was comforting to have her by our side and she treated our wedding with the same care, passion and attention to detail as if it were her own. Not only that - she is a bloody amazing human being! I had the pleasure of working with Amanda and her team as the wedding DJ for a wedding she planned on October 5th, 2024. From the very beginning, Amanda was extremely friendly, professional, and diligent. I could tell that she always had her bride's interests at heart and was very communicative throughout the entire process leading up to her client's wedding. She made it VERY easy for me to get everything I needed regarding their music playlist and photo booth design to ensure that the couple's wedding was a success.
