Great experience for my kid and me. Open cockpit makes the flight unique. I was able to take pictures with my own camera. The 40-50 minute flight took us over Blue Origin, SpaceX, Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, and cruise ship port among other places.

Wonderful people and a pilot that really knows what he's doing. My late father was an aerobatic Waco pilot and they were so accommodating to put my dad out to sea and gave him an aerobatic send off. I had spent many hours in a Waco over my lifetime and know a darn good pilot when I see one. It was perfect, highly recommend.

Where to spend your money in Cocoa Beach.....go flying with John at Florida Air Tours on Merritt Island. I cannot imagine a better way to enjoy and remember a trip to Florida. The 1940s Waco biplane is a gem, and is like taking a ride in a '50s Cadillac convertible.....only in the air. Pilot John is exceptional, with his many Air Force hours in fast jets as well as many hours in unique civilian aircraft. John gives you great confidence in his skills, and he is clearly a master of the lovely Waco. The extra for John's smooth aerobatics is well worth the money. The view of the coast and Cocoa area was super, and the best way to see the whole coastline. Highly, highly recommended.

This was such an amazing experience! Being in an open-air cockpit soaring through the sky in a biplane is a thrilling experience everyone should have! Our pilot, John, definitely knew what he was doing and made us feel safe the whole time. He also kept in close contact with us regarding a rocket launch that might have (but didn’t) caused us to reschedule. Absolutely recommended!

This was a gift to me so I had no expectations. It was a beautiful day to fly, John our pilot was great, engaged alot pointing things out and telling us where to look, it was a very cool ride. You see so much, the pier, the port, the, lock, roadways, beaches, rivers, etc. Package included acrobatics which I was a bit nervous about, but it was also pretty cool, I did get a little motion sick with those turns but survived 😆. A go pro was attached for a 20 minute video which you can purchase which we did. You definately see things differently from this sky view, just gorgeous. I would do this again but without the flips next time. Thank you again John!

I can't recommend Florida Air Tours enough. The owner is amazing and the experience is absolutely unforgettable.

Try the sunset tour. You can also pay a little extra and do a flip. That is totally worth it.

They also run helicopter tours in Cocoa Beach and Titusville.
