I simply love this little museum. They have a lot to look at and the staff are very knowledgeable about the local history . The only thing that I have to say negatively about this museum is that it seems to me they need more money to operate on . Nobody said that or implied it to me , but you can kinda tell they operate on a small budget and there is a lot of history to cover in the Florence area and I feel like they could do more with more money and perhaps even bring more paying visitors in if they had a little more to work with . Again I LOVE THIS MUSEUM and all new residents and tourists alike should definitely drop in and check it out .

Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. I love the way. They have set up the museum. You start at the door with the earliest history of Florence walk around and gold the time line. Very entertaining.

Wonderful museum and displays! I met the board members at the 2022 "Night at the Museum" and chili fundraiser event, and they all showed such care for their community and passion for history.

I love the way the museum is set up its like a historical time line you walk in and learn about the Indians that lived in the area followed by the oil and coa l mining history . The next is how people live in the days of early state hood and continues to current events
