Nice hike short hike under the canopy of trees so it is good on them hot sunny days. One part of the trail can get a bit muddy . We'll maintain path and it is dog friendly but please pick up after your dogs. Enjoy Florida Nature

It was a rather peaceful walk on some fairly nice trails. You have to keep your eyes alert for exposed roots to prevent tripping or stumbling. There are some cool looking trees to see.

A very good trail by Florida standards. Lots of tree cover along a 2.5 mile loop. The trail is well marked and relatively flat except for some roots. There are a couple benches along the way to sit if needed. Not much parking but if you get there early there shouldn't be too many cars. I saw lots of dogs on leashes so it appears dog friendly. Overall I'd recommend and plan on hiking again.

This is a super nice place for a hike in the forest. There's plenty of shade from old growth trees. This is a good place to see a variety of mushrooms and mosses. This is real Florida; a peaceful place to enjoy nature. The trails are well marked. Be aware of root and rock trip hazards that are plentiful.

If you blink, you'll miss it. It's a great unassuming park with a nice figure 8 path that passes over the creek a few times and is beside it almost the whole walk, so I'd bring bug spray. As the time for this review, the creek was dry, so it was just a walk through a textbook florida forest. Huge old trees dot the path that I'd say was just long enough for me to get a good humid sweat on.

Very peaceful and pleasant trail to hike. It is very easy to navigate with lots of shade throughout. Great place to get some fresh air and walk your dogs. Usually not very busy. When you do run into someone, they are mostly pleasant.

This is a great example of mesic hammock, with lots of old knarly trees, ferns in the dry creeks, and occasional orchids. Lots of shade and the dry weather must be why I didn't have mosquito problems, not that bugs or sunmer ever stops me from walking in the woods.

It's a nice short couple miles, and the figure 8 makes it even easier to do for people who want a shorter loop or quick reconnection with nature. It's uneven terrain with surface roots, so more suited to able bodied users, though the trails and bridges should accommodate recumbent bikes if you can navigate the wide latching gate. Very scenic short walk. I always see people on the trail, but it's not crowded at all.

Dog friendly, and their owners seem to consistently keep them leashed, unlike many other places.

No bathrooms, which is really the only downside to this park but understandable logistically.

Love coming to this trail. The picture with the sunset is on Centralia rd coming out of the entrance of the park. I've seen dear at this park, beautiful. They've also built some benches which are very well made. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a Park!....
