I love coming here on my lunch break. There are picnic benches, a cemented & dirt bike/walking path and of course the river! It’s beautiful, peaceful and relaxing if you need to just get away. If you enjoy nature & being outside then go check it out.

Seemed nice enough. A lot of sandy access to the river. People keep it fairly clean for how much use it gets.

Potential but uninviting. Passing through I stopped as a visitor from out of town thinking this might be a good place to enjoy breakfast I picked up. A few shady people loitering/living out of the parking lot though kept me from leaving my car out unattended. After eating I tried to use the restrooms but they were dead bolted. A clear sign that they encourage public defecation and urination over decency which explains the lingering smell of feces through the air only subdued by a park worker driving a motorized tractor along the walking path spraying caustic chemicals on the already sparse and naked landscape. Not likely to return or suggest anyone else visit.

Very nice afternoon. Clean and lots of shade to sit in and watch the kiddos play in the water. Perfect current and sand was soft and beautiful and Sparkling.

Lots of shady trees to sit under!! But if you take your dogs make sure you pick them up before they walk in the hot hot hot sand?

Amazing, beautiful views, little upsetting that there is as much construction as there is. Be careful at night because some druggies like to go chill near there, otherwise normally pretty peaceful. Hope you go soon

It seems to attract a large amount of homeless and so I am not sure about the idea of family functions etc. but if youre hot and youre driving through it might be a spot to wet your feet. Thats about all I can say ...
