I am the proud owner of a very small wound vac. I also in the proud owner of a bunch of tape and pads that are leaking. the matter of fact at this point now,t he packing has fell slap out of my wound and I am sloshing as I walk. I have done my own tape job here, it doesn't look too bad I look like a robot.I think I deserve better care than what I received in the last 2 days. between the shabby wound check of the Dr and the pitiful taping of the gauze, I still have until 10 a.m. before my wound VAC is placed back on. But the nurses are very nice, caring and polite and I really do not understand how this got so out of hand. DCH needs to do better than this.
UPDATE: After calling answering service and having nurses paged I got the great results I needed. Now that's more like it. Thank you so much nurses. 🙂
