It's such an easy trail with kids! They are VERY well taken care of and nicely marked. I think this is the best marked trail I've been on. I love the map at each "cross" so you know exactly where you are. Also dog friendly, which is a plus. We went during the off-season, but there are bathrooms during the on season.

Excellent area. Hosts extremely old oaks, pines, and hemlocks. Probably the largest of all three I have seen. The blue trail is rather easy and passes the groves with the largest trees. The old maple trail and the bloodroot trail intersect the blue path which can be traversed quite easily. The trail over Spruce Swamp is open via the bog trail but not the other trail which is closed due to beaver activity. I went as far as the trail permits and saw a red tail.

We stopped in to take a hike and enjoy nature and it did not disappoint. We are not experienced hikers but we were able to take a .75 mile hike on the blue trail. The blue trail was well marked. We really enjoyed our hike. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. A great place to have a picnic they have facilities to enjoy a nice picnic.

Very beautiful trail. Stopped by in the fall with my dog and I cannot wait to go back again this year. The front garden area could use a little love but the natural plants and scenery is very beautiful.

A relatively short hike, but very beautiful. A few small hills to go up, but nothing bad. The animal life was also very active, and the trails are pretty well upkept.

Very neat and well maintained park. Hiking trails are marked very well and there is no chance of getting lost. Even if you don't look at the maps, the signs will do. It is a small park compared to state parks of course.. there is parking available for 10-15 cars. The entrance is kinda confusing. There is a gate you have to pass but is unlocked when the park is open.

Absolutely love it here! There are 2 loops one is .75 miles the other is 1 mile with all sorts of little interconnecting trails. Its peaceful and the Pinetum is beautifully maintained. My pup also enjoys hiking here!
