I went on a short mother/daughter trip to Brenham and stayed at Far View Bed & Breakfast. Let me tell you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the beautiful property to the great Balcony Room, to the marvelous breakfast...we couldn't ask for more. We will be staying in the future at Far View Bed & Breakfast, but with my husband and other daughter next time!

Everything was wonderful! Steve and Lynda are heavenly hosts, the breakfasts are awesome, the room squeaky clean with plenty of coffee and tea, and the price we paid was very fair. We will never go anywhere else in Brenham and plan to be back soon.

It is the fifth year my wife and I stay at the Far View Bed & Breakfast while doing the Marburger Farm Antique Show in Round Top, Texas. We have always enjoyed our stay there. It is a very nice estate, located in a quiet neighborhood of Brenham, close to downtown, shops, and restaurants. Steve and Lynda do a wonderful job at welcoming us and making us feel at home. The rooms are very nice and spacious with very comfortable beds. They are very clean and well kept. We are served a very nice breakfast to help us start the day. I highly recommend it.

A step back in time staying at the Hasskarl home originally built in 1925. The rooms and walking the grounds were very relaxing. The breakfast was very good as well as our hosts. They were engaging and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again when in Brenham.

We came right after the winter storm. It was STILL beautiful! They have really put a lot into the property, and it shows. The inn keepers are so friendly and easy to talk to. Very genuine. The food was so good. It felt like being a kid and waking up to mom cooking special breakfast. The room we stayed in was the blue room. It was adorable. Everything worked and was original to the era; even the doors were the original. Super quiet and relaxing. The bed was very easy to sleep on! We did see a few of the cats from the other reviews but it was pretty chilly so we camped out inside. It is so comfy, all the furniture is in amazing shape somehow. It’s a perfect spot to mill through town and use as home base. It’s not far from roundtop, which is why we came. Very glad we made it! It is outstanding and I will stay here again when we return to the April show! Thank you for the hospitality!

Wonderful visit and highly recommend!!! Lovely large grounds to walk around, hang out, outdoor bbq and sitting area, pool, hot tub. The owners(?)/caretakers are great. The breakfast is amazing! Homemade and cooked for you when you sit down. Soooo good and a lot of food, my sister and I couldn’t eat it all. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Sister & I came for Round Top Antiques week. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful expérience. Far View is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, close to downtown. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Breakfast, nicely served, is a wonderful way to start the day. I highly recommend Far Vie Bed and Breakfast.

The wife and I just got back from a quick the Brenham, TX. We stayed at the Far View B&B ans it was fabulous. Everything from the room to the common area to the dinning area to the kitchen was squeaky clean. The grounds were well kept albeit somewhat crowded. They even had a swimming pool. And, Steve served wonderful breakfasts. I would recommend this place for a weekend or a week.
