Alan is an amazing tour guide! He shared so many lovely stories about the single tax colony and patiently answered our questions. He had great photos so we could compare then to now. It was so nice to learn while walking on the beautiful streets of Fairhope.

Alan’s walking tour of historic Fairhope was so fun and informative. He is more than a historian; he’s a scholar. He helped identify the ownership of several of the homes of founding members of Fairhope, by photographs. I bought his book at Poets and Palettes. Next time I’m back in Fairhope want to take his pier tour. Thanks for adding a special touch to my first visit to Fairhope!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed listening and walking the streets in beautiful downtown Fairhope with Alan. The history from past to present about this quaint town is truly fascinating and definitely worth taking the tour with Alan.

We had met Alan, bought his book and learned about his tour. Took it last week and it was a great experience. Learned so much about our awesome little town. Been here 19 years so far and learned a great deal. Highly recommend Allen and learning from his knowledge. Very enjoyable tour
