This place bought the cheapest possible mattresses. My back hurt terribly after both nights. My bathroom was just barely clean enough to use. Some hair in shower. Not what I am looking for for the price. I didn't mind the construction but usually places tell you when booking and discount and they didn't. The pillows sucked. All feather. Not firm enough.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. I had my reservation for weeks, and no one bothered to inform me that there would be renovations and inconveniences during my stay. It was noisy, and they didn’t even tell me the water would be turned off for 4 to 5 hours! Omg. I had to go down the street to use the bathroom.||Here’s the worst part… I am the guest and paid full price for this horrible experience. The staff didn’t really care and frankly could not do anything about it. But when I called the general manager, he was very defensive, showed no empathy for what the guests are going through and said there’s nothing he can do about it. I wanted compensation for this horrible experience that I paid full price for, but he wouldn’t even give me a discount. On behalf of all of the guests that stayed there that weekend in May, I will be going up the ladder to talk to corporate and filing a complaint at the Better Business Bureau. What a horrible way to treat your guests. I won’t be returning, ever.

Room was large, clean and comfortable.
Laundry room was clean and the machines were fast.
Breakfast was good.
The location is easy to reach by car but if you are a tourist planning to visit San Francisco, this place is very out of the way. (I wasn’t, I’m just trying to warn people who haven’t been to the Bay Area before).

My stay was pretty good. I’ve stayed here twice and on both occasions I had ants in my bathroom.

It’s a bit out of the way unless you are going to the small airport next door, but the price is great and the breakfast is fair.

It’s walking distance from the shoreline trail and a few major tech company headquarters.

Aside from the ants, it was quiet and the rooms were decent. I’d stay again.

Terrible stay. Stay far away.
Had to change rooms after hour of being there. Then was over charged. Then the office called the hotel room at 1235am woke kids up. Then over charged the room again. Then said i should get a refund back but instead 2 days later after I've already been home another charge. Calling back and the lady is sooooo rude on the phone every time. Very very rude. Stay far away from this place. And to top off under construction and elevator is broken as well.

The hotel should have been shut down temporarily for construction.. OR at a good discount… Rooms shouldn’t be full price while it’s impossible to enjoy your stay.. you hear a bunch of drilling and pounding LOUDLY from construction very early in the morning till very late evening.. unpleasant stay 🙁

Don't expect too much from this $400 a night hotel. It's very old and musty. As a frequent Marriott customer, I expected it to be a bit more modern. Free breakfast on the 2nd floor was good. Otherwise, reminded me of a higher class Motel 6.

Positive: I loved how accommodating the staff were, from late check outs to parking passes to late night trash pick ups. The breakfasts were also nice. Negative: The room AC could have gotten slightly more cold, and it could have been a bit more cleaner. I wish there were more outlets closer to the bed to charge cell phones and headphones.
