Omgggg words can’t even explain how magical they’ve made our Day. Absolutely stunning work and we received so many compliments on how amazing our wedding and reception looked. Every detail coordinated perfectly with each other and the way we wanted our set up. But it blow our minds because we knew Exotic Deco & Events did amazing work but this omg this was definitely our dream wedding. Very professional and communicative. Definitely worth booking.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Exotic Decor and Event Planning that I feel compelled to share. To start, I have a personal connection with the owner and decided to rely on word of mouth instead of getting a formal written contract. While the decorations were okay, their customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The day before my event, my brother reached out to them for clarification on a few details, and instead of addressing our concerns professionally, they threatened to return my money and have me find a new venue the day before my event. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but downright stressful.

This is the second time I’ve used their services, and I rarely write reviews, but when something is this wrong, it needs to be addressed. After the event, I called the owner to discuss what happened, and to my surprise, he wasn’t even remorseful. He made it clear that "it’s business"—but I believe good business should include respect and accountability.

My advice to anyone considering using Exotic Decor and Event Planning is this: make sure you have everything in writing. Without a contract, you might find yourself facing unexpected surprises at the last minute. As the owner told me, it’s just business, so I’m doing what I have to do to make others aware of how they operate.

My Response to the post of the owners.
At first I was keeping it professional highlighting key points. You and I know when I approached you, the hall was to be used to 2am. it is only on the Friday prior after my brother asked for some clarifications, you mentioned that the hall will close at midnight because you were angry. Now if we had that on paper, I will be able to attach that here, but because we didn’t, you left me and my event at your mercy. Also, clearly like you mentioned, it is very risky supporting the business of an acquaintance. As for your money, it was paid in full and on time based on our verbal agreement. I do not appreciate you lying to potential clients that I didn’t pay your money. You received all of your money paid in full. So stop lying. Potential clients, please read the review in detail and be careful. There is another review on Facebook about their customer service and how rude they are. As I made it clear to you on the phone call, it was never about the money but how you treated me and my guest at my event. Money comes and goes and that was not my point. I didn’t say I was overcharged, I said I wasn’t treated right. Neither were my guest. So get that crystal clear.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I recently experienced at your establishment on the 28th of September,2024, I value businesses that prioritize professionalism and respect, which unfortunately was not the case during my visit.

The behaviour I encountered was unprofessional, with both owner and his wife coming across as rude and arrogant. As a business owner, I believe it is important to ensure that customers are treated with courtesy and respect at all times. The lack of professionalism from the owners has left me with a negative impression of their business and i will not recommend this to a family or friend.

Their response to my review shows how unprofessional the were enough plates , cutleries and champagne flutes but the owner decided not to put in table is only a high that can identify another person that is high .

I really appreciate the time and dedication that Excotic Deco and Planning put into making my Wedding magical this past September 2021. I didn't even have to show her what decorations I wanted. She definitely understood the assignment once I gave her our wedding colors. I walked into the most beautiful wedding and reception set up. Also their prices were very reasonable.
