This trail is close to home, so after passing it daily we finally decided to check it out and go for a walk. The first thing you notice is the insane amount of bunnies. A lot of sections of trail was blocked off when we were there. The part we did walk ran alongside a road and then right behind some houses. So you don't really feel that immersed in nature. Still enjoyable and I look forward to going back, hopefully when more of the trail is open.

i love this place in all seasons, i recently went when everything was relatively flat and my friend and i searched for bones to save and clean and display as a way to preserve the animals even more. we picked up some shotgun shells and removed them along with garbage found on the way. i love coming here to clear my mind and the trails arenโ€™t super long but great for walking and clearing your mind. i suggest observing the animals and birds especially.

Overall, simple trail that is dog friendly. No gravel or pavement for the majority of it so it can get quite muddy. Not a challenging path however so there was limited slipping and sliding.

However a WORD OF WARNING : despite staying on marked trails we did encounter heavily buggy areas (its a Marsh) and end up finding ticks on ourself. Check yourself, check your pets, and stay safe.

This place is close to my house less than a half a mile of driving I can honestly walk up there. It's scenic Queen well-maintained and if you like playing Pokemon go you're going to find a bunch of stuff over there. The pastor clear and organized despite being near major intersection you can hardly tell it's like a little getaway

Great walking trails from Lakewood Road entrance all the way to Miller Road entrance. Photo opportunities of birds and other wild life. Marsh waters attract Canadian Geese, Herons, Sandhill Cranes, etc.. Lakewood has picnic pavilion. Appreciate nature in our Lake In The Hills backyard!

It was nice. My 5 yr old son and myself went for a 45 minute walk through a part of the trails. There is a bathroom as soon as you begin walk. Water pump, benches, grills. Not too busy. Once you got away from the parking lot it seemed as if we were alone. Only walked past one person on entire walk. Not quite as nice as Vetrans Acres. But nice for a quick escape by our stomping grounds.
