We had Kenny for our boat captain and guide. He was great! Not only did he work that airboat with effortless skill, he was also knowledgeable of all the wildlife that called the swamp home. In addition his humor kept anybody that may have been on edge at ease. Kenny was diligent in making sure we got to see at least one alligator. In the beginning we almost lost hope in seeing any gators (other than one that was swimming near the docking area at the start). We got to see a variety of beautiful birds throughout the tour which was an experience in its own right. However towards the end of our tour we hit jackpot coming across a congregation of them hanging out in one area! Definitely worth the drive out. I have no doubt all of the guides are awesome but we became partial to Kenny during our visit so we recommend requesting him when you book.

Our Everglades adventure with Rusty as our guide was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped onto the airboat, Rusty’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the Everglades were evident. He made the experience not only exciting but also incredibly educational. His storytelling skills brought the rich history of the Everglades to life, from its unique ecosystem to the indigenous people who once thrived there.

As we glided through the winding waterways, Rusty knew exactly where to take us for the best wildlife sightings. He pointed out massive alligators basking in the sun, elegant wading birds, and even a few turtles peeking out of the water. His sharp eye and deep respect for nature made the trip feel like a behind-the-scenes look into one of the most fascinating ecosystems in the world.

Beyond the wildlife, Rusty made sure we were engaged the entire time, answering questions with passion and humor. His love for the Everglades was contagious, and by the end of the tour, we had a whole new appreciation for this incredible environment. The airboat ride itself was exhilarating—fast, smooth, and perfect for taking in the stunning scenery.

Our tour with Rusty was absolutely incredible! His deep knowledge of the local wildlife, plants, and ecosystem brought the Everglades to life in a way that was both educational and thrilling. He was very engaging and insightful. We spotted countless alligators and a large variety of birds. So much fun! Totally worth it. Whether you go with a group, family & friends or just as a couple (as we did $250) It’s a great adventure, lots of gators, birds & history. Many thanks to Rusty our guide for sharing his love of Florida and his job with us. So nice to have a kind, courteous & knowledgeable guide. We paid for an hour ride that turned into 1.5hrs as there was so much to see and Rusty appreciated my interest of all the wild life especially the fowl. Glad we chose Everglades Swamp Tours. Kenny is the jam!!! An absolute blast for the entire family. Kenny made sure my 74 year old father and 2 children (ages 8 & 5) were safe and comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Everglades. We booked the private hour slot, but if I was able to do it over I would have booked the 1.5 or 2 hour tour!!! It was over too soon! As a Florida resident, Everglades Swamp Tour provided hands down the best private airboat tour I’ve ever experienced. Kenny was beyond amazing! Given the raining circumstances (Typical bipolar Florida weather), he made sure we were still having a blast and was extremely safe. An absolutely amazing day, the tour start location was easy to find off of the 75. Our guide, Gary, was probably one of the nicest person I’ve ever met! He was extremely friendly, funny and showed great depth of knowledge about the surrounding areas and it showed that he cared a lot about preserving the ecosystem in the Everglades!

I will be recommending this to all friends and family who come to the Miami area!

Absolutely loved our tour! We went on a 4pm Sunday tour with Gary to celebrate my birthday and we had such an amazing time. The tour was fun, informative, and we loved every minute. We saw a LOT of gators and birds which is exactly what I’d been hoping for. It was personally a memory I will hold dear for the rest of my life. We’re very excited to try and come back during another season.
