E&A offers opportunities to enjoy events around town that I found appealing while allowing me to feel connected to a group even when I did not know anyone. By the time I went to 4-5 events I began to see familiar faces and began to make genuine connections and friendships.
I went into this commitment knowing it would be a financial investment (as it is not cheap), but I disagree with the other reviews describing it as a scam.
The money investment helped me stay committed and kept my focus on being intentional about meeting people and building connections.
My goal was to try to attend one event a week. My membership was flexible and I was able to pause it for a month at a time (up to 3 times) if I was traveling or had a busy month at work.
I am happy to share that I have met many people from all different walks of life and enjoyed the conversations and experiences I participated in over the last year. I made a handful of friends that have brought so much joy and happiness into my life in Houston.

If you have read many of the reviews, it is clear that E&A is not perfect, doubt anywhere is. But, if you are willing to join, put some effort on it, you will make friends from all one the city, country, and world. I have met many wonderful people and have lots of great friends I would have never met without E&A. I have been in for 9 years and am grateful for the people it has brought into my life. I would join it again in a heartbeat. If you join, I have lots of party’s at my house and look forward to meeting you.

OK, the singles organization is at least pretty good and I didn’t mean to take away my initial review and I’m adding most of it back now. They have a wide variety of events and activities for people to do, including kayaking, hiking, biking, paintball, will add more later

I had attended the New Braunfels, TX event as a guest with my now wife, and I feel compelled to share my frustration with the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was met with an unwelcoming, snobby, and outright disrespectful group of people. It was, without question, the most inconsiderate group I’ve ever been around at an event like this.

I traveled three hours and stayed two nights in a tent, expecting a friendly, enjoyable environment as advertised because i was going to become a member but Instead, I felt excluded and disrespected the entire time. The also continued to charge my wife monthly when when she asked to stop her membership.

I highly suggest not to sign any contracts with this bs individuals

I paid for my daughter to sign up for this after she moved to Houston this year, and now I really regret it. I feel terrible for wasting her time and my own money. This is the worst scam I have personally ever come across, and I can't believe it's even legal for them to be in operation. They made it sound very appealing, saying she'd meet plenty of people her own age and that the whole thing is very exclusive and special, while locking us into a multi-thousand dollar contract. When they failed to provide a decent experience, my daughter asked to cancel.... They were extremely rude and not once did they show or express any empathy or admit that their services were anything other than perfect. Then, we just kind of accepted it and she went to more events and found that all of them were actually just public Houston events, not anything actually planned by the company. When we asked again to cancel, they wanted us to pay almost two thousand dollars and tried to force us to sign a non-disclosure agreement saying we weren't allowed to write anything about them on social media or elsewhere. The guy we corresponded with was just so incredibly rude and disrespectful to both of us. I really don't want anyone else to have this experience. Please do not give these people your money. It is an absolute scam and they should be shut down.

Don’t bother! They sell a membership for thousands of dollars that’s basically useless. The events they offer are things you could do for free or for the same fee you still have to pay with their membership. I foolishly signed up and never used it a single time. I inquired if I could cancel and save any monthly payments since it really wasn’t any value to me at all, and was simply told no, and if I didn’t pay out the full amount they would send it to collections. STAY AWAY!!!!!

If I could give this company no star, I would. Bad experience and horrible for dating. I was duped into signing up and later found out that they have high pressure sales tactics and require you to sign a 1- or 2-year contract at $200 or more per month before you can go to any events. They only give you 3 days to get out of the contract which doesn't allow you a chance to go through the contract thoroughly or allow you a chance to attend the events. If you want to get out within those 3 days window, it will cost you $400 to get out of the contract

Additionally, they charge you for each event (or adventure) around $50-$200. Be aware they do not filter events by age so there is a chance nobody at an event will be your age and many events have very very low turnout.

I have met the BEST people in this group! Literal friendships to last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a good time and fun activities to keep you motivated to get up and off the couch we are your people!!
