I am not typically one to do this unless I can write a 5-star review in support of the services I receive but honest reviews are important in this industry. I did not feel that I had Yhanna’s best interest. I chose the month of package as I felt this would better suite me considering I had already started booking most of my vendors. For starters, my final timeline was not created until 11 days prior to my wedding day. No big deal, but things started to spiral from there: Yhanna showed up 30 minutes late to my Rehearsal where we have limited time to rehearse. As my coordinator, she created the timeline and on that timeline, the exact start and end time was listed (again created by her). On the day of the wedding, she showed up past her arrival time listed on the timeline she created, again no big deal but I did not speak to Yhanna the entire day of being there until minutes before I walked down the aisle. I’m not sure if this is normal for a coordinator to have no contact with the bride but I hired someone to decorate my venue so, I can’t say that she was busy decorating because she wasn’t. Instead, she sat on the couch on her computer in my venue the majority of the day. I was also informed that she had three weddings she was working on the same day as mine. The “coordination” was severely lacking.. I don’t feel that anything was actually coordinated by Yhanna, at all. I had a team of AMAZING vendors and I wish I could’ve had the same experience with Eventive occasions but I did not and my ENTIRE wedding party (groomsmen, bridesmaid + parents) made comments pertaining to the lack of assistance or coordination received.

On the other hand, Brooklyn made an appearance and was more than accommodating. I do feel that myself and my wedding party had Brooklyn’s best interest.

I am so sorry that I had to be the one to write this and I hope that this is encouragement for a change.

I couldn’t be happier with the exceptional service of this company and the quality of the chairs I rented! Yhana was able to help us on short notice! The Lime Wash Chiavari chairs were gorgeous and absolutely perfect! We were working with a very modest budget, so I called almost every vendor in town to get the best quote. Eventive Occasions had the most competitive prices! I had to ask her twice if the price she quoted me was correct, because it was so inexpensive compared to everyone else we called. Yhana was remarkably helpful, accommodating, and gives the impression that she truly cares about her clients! I have already recommended her to my sister for her wedding! I’m so happy I found this company!

Yhana and the Eventive Occasions team were such a life saver for our wedding. They were able to accommodate us and provide chairs, linens, and decor on a week's notice. The chairs are also about HALF the price of other vendors i checked with in town. Yhana has a great touch for design and was able to help my wife take a rough idea into some beautiful displays at the venue. All this was done after our original vendor cancelled on us, we wish we would have chosen them from the start. Thank you, Yhana!!
