What an experience! Thomas took us on a snowshoeing hike to Bierstadt Lake. 2 adults and 2 kids (14 and 10). We are not avid hikers and struggled at times but he was so patient and encouraging with myself and my daughter. My son asked him questions the entire hike and he answered every one of them and then taught us even more. He was very knowledgeable and safe. We were able to get to the top and snack and take in the breathtaking views. We then experienced a walk across the frozen lake before heading back down. Thomas was so personable, took lots of pics for us, and if we ever make it back to Estes we will be booking more trips with him.

Thomas proved to be an invaluable resource on our RMNP trip.

We booked an early morning hike during the elk rut to see some wildlife and get acquainted with some of the trails, and it was a highlight of our visit! Thomas is super prepared, super knowledgeable, and makes your experience feel like hiking with an old friend. He knew all the best spots (some of them off the beaten path which we never would’ve known about otherwise) and was an all around joy to spend a morning with.

We went on a Sunrise hike with Thomas and it was a wonderful experience! Thomas was knowledgeable about the area and well as the wildlife. We hiked to Bierstadt Lake to watch the sunrise and were surprised with a moose having a dip in the lake as the sun came up over the mountain range. Highly recommend Thomas and Estes Park Tour Guides!

Wonderful hiking and learning experience with Thomas!!! We would have never hiked to the area we went without a professional guide, so very thankful to have a guide with experience to lead us in the early morning hours for the Sunrise hike. We also saw a Moose and her baby which was a plus!!

Thomas was prepared, confident, and a fantastic tour guide. He met us at our hotel, navigated us to the trail and took his time to point out cool natural locations as well as give a comprehensive and fascinating history of the area. We booked a sunrise tour and he patiently navigated us in the dark, operating at our pace and never making us feel rushed.

The views were incredible and Thomas kept the energy up with his easy going conversation and friendliness.

10/10 would absolutely book again. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

I had an amazing experience hiking with Estes Park Tour Guides on October 17 and 18, 2024. I reached out by phone and immediately received a call back from the owner Thomas. We spoke and told him I was going to be out there for a few days from South Florida and what I really wanted to do. Thomas asked questions and gave suggestions. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire area and Rocky Mountain National Oark and the history within the park. Looking forward to my next trip out there where I will be hiring one of the guides again.

We had two fantastic Sunrise Hikes with Thomas in RMNP this week. He was great at communicating during the booking process, and tailored the hikes to our abilities and to vary the scenery over two days. He is also great at picking routes that aren’t crowded, which was great in the summer peak season. He even shared his pack with us to carry our 7month old baby on our hikes.
