It was awesome to see Eric work his magic at a good friend's party. He was always patient with those who talked with him while he was simultaneously working. I noticed he played some newer music I was unfamiliar with, and he mixed it in with the most popular songs everyone knows and loves. I think he has a good collection of music to play with. The transitions between songs were well-matched and kept the flow and energy moving. I remember when the party was just starting, Eric had to work on getting people loosened up. He played awesome music and before I knew it, people were singing along and moving to the beat. He made it look so easy.
