Nice little gem for folks who want to learn the best practices of off-roading and/or refresher for those who haven't been off-road in a long while. Great group of folks who offer this training program at a bargain price-point. Best of all is that it is located within an hour from the bay area.

I've taken a few 4x4 beginner and safety classes. I found the Esprit De Four Safety clinic to be the best. The class provides thorough instruction that is suited to both novice and experienced off-road enthusiasts. The day provides a good balance of practice on trails and various types of obstacles. The day is both fun and informative.

Great place to learn the basics of your 4WD vehicle and safety out on the trail. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable. I took the Safety Clinic twice and both of my sons now have done it once, and we've had a blast every time. The cost is well worth it, and was less than other clinics I've seen out there. Recommend you sign up as soon as they open registration because it fills up quickly.

Esprit de Four has been hosting their 4x4 Safety Clinic for beginner and advanced offroaders for over 40 years now. The day was a great mix of classroom information, hands on demos, and in the field guidance. Its a great way to get to know your 4x4 better and feel more confident when going off pavement. Highly recommended for folks interested in the hobby or looking to pick up new skills.
