We camped in our van, so can't comment on the cabins. We enjoyed our stay, it was very pleasant. We didn't arrive until about 7:00pm, and I really appreciated having someone on duty to register us, give us directions, etc. That was very helpful! We stayed two nights, mid-week, and had the loop to ourselves, nice and quiet! We stayed in site #75, very nice site, and convenient for the bathhouse. Camping under the Redwoods amidst the giant ferns was magical. We even got to see a banana slug, fantastic! Highly recommend this campground. Thanks Emerald Forest!

Magical Stay at Emerald Forest Cabins

Our 2-night stay at the Emerald Forest Cabins in Redwood, California, was incredible. Nestled among towering redwoods, the cabin was cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. We loved the peaceful outdoor deck and its perfect proximity to breathtaking trails.

The staff was welcoming and helpful, adding to the overall charm of the place. It was the perfect blend of nature and comfort, leaving us refreshed and eager to return. Highly recommend for a serene and unforgettable getaway!

We camped here for 4 days before heading inland. It was a nice home base as we took in the Redwoods and Ocean. It was nice and clean, quiet and all the people there were very friendly.
Beautiful tenting sites too, and from what we could see, the cabins were very cute. Really nice hide away!

Beautiful little cabins inside the coastal rainforest. Ours had a big redwood growing through the deck in back, it was really cool. Cozy place with nice amenities.

Beautiful location. I believe the cabin we stayed at didn’t have heat for the night, but it wasn’t an issue. The interior is very modern with modern conveniences.

This was during February, so even then, temp and weather was very nice.

Still worth 5 stars.

Cabin (L) was super clean and spacious. The Cabin was beautiful inside with heated floors. And there was a patio!!||My parents stayed in their RV and their spot was surrounded by natural huckleberry and blueberry bushes.||The park was small, but the kids LOVED it.|Definitely will stay there again

My husband and I camp at emerald forest and it’s the greatest thing ever, the staff are so kind and this place has a fenced in dog park and it so nice. Kids play area and close to the beach.. the camp sites are so clean including the bathrooms hot shower all private just for yourselves.. so if anyone wants to see a beautiful area I think you should stay all emerald forest.. once you visit you will come back..full hookups.. you truly won’t regret visiting here.. oh and all the cabins are so adorable and super clean. We’ve actually stayed in a few at different time.. you won’t regret it…

Beautiful setting. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Be careful. Photos show cabins looking much larger than reality. In cabin #24, the only sink is in the kitchenette area. Staff is nice but not particularly welcoming. No laundry on site. Have to go south about 15 minutes to do laundry.
