We had a great time today kayaking up the Quinsigamond River. Going through the Mass Like tunnels was a bit creepy, but so much fun. We saw a bunch of turtles including a large snapper, swans, cormorants, a kingfisher and a gray heron. The parking and load in area was easy to traverse. This is easily one of my favorite places to explore.

This is good local kayaking/canoe spot. Great for animal spoting and maybe the occasional fish catch. Fairly weedy so not a great swim spot and also near highways so has some good noise pollution and water can get a bit nasty if low

Nice little spot to paddle around. Water was a bit low in a couple of spots but a very pretty spot once you get past the pike.

Great landing. Beware the broken glass. There was a lot of weeds and so we never made it to the lake.

great place to drop a kayak in and take a short stroll. if you go up stream it snakes through some tall grass, watch out for beavers! if u go down stream it brings you to a pong thats welll not so eye appealing before dropping you out on lake ripple

Easy to find (right on RT 122) ample parking (no restrooms or privacy in this location). Very easy to put in kayak. To the left it opens up into the lake where we found cardinals, blue jays, great blue heron (2), river otters. Beware the dam by the brick building (there is also a dirt/stone boat put in there, near the dam. To the right of the Ekblaw landing is the winding river where we saw kingfisher, tons of turtles, and two beaver dams!! Large fish were jumping at both locations! Beautiful
Paddles each way) The river side had a few low spots we got caught on but easily unstuck ourselves!
Would have loved this as dawn or dusk so beavers were active!
